PLACE IS TRASH!!!!!!!! Will never come here again. Pretty sure they put water in their liquor. Ordered a Bloody Mary and was the worst one I’ve ever had. She wouldn’t take off the bill bc of “Georgia ordinance”. Poor ownership. Place won’t last.

We had a very nice dinner at Vertigo with friends. Food was fresh and service outstanding. Would definitely go again and would recommend people trying it. Thank you to the staff.

I ordered the Mahi off the menu because it’s one of my favorite meals. I was disappointed the fish didn’t taste fresh it had a rubbery taste and absolutely no seasoning anywhere. I did like the sweet salsa on top. The drinks were strong and overpriced for a small quantity. Any way my server was great. The buffalo dip was good.

The wait staff and manager / owner were very pleasant and friendly. The food was very tasty, good size portions. This is a place I would go back to next time I'm in town.

BRUTAL EXPERIENCE.... Traveling for work and figured we would give a "local joint" a try for dinner. After showing up (5:40PM) we waited a good 15 mins to get drinks. Then quite some time to place our order. At 7:30PM I asked to speak to the owner because we STILL had not received our food. I had overheard a waitress tell the table beside us they were short staffed and only hand 3 waitress and 1 cook (No one ever told us this, including the owner when she sat us)... I was literally fuming. All this after they came back twice to tell me they were out of baked potatoes and then out of soup.. the two sides I ordered with my meal. Truly the customer service experience was horrible-- Not even remotely impressed. I hope this outfit can get it together because they will never survive with this type of service. I had the Mahi as my main dish-- the zucchini was delicious. French fries because there were basically no other options. **Communication is everything -- completely nonexistent tonight.

Food poisoning not fun...really hate that the concept changed. Uniqueness makes you stand out and be a reason to visit. There was nothing unique about the place or the food. Was empty at lunch (*the last time I visited was at lunch, midweek and the place was packed - this was pre-concept change and during pandemic). The menu was mostly sports grill stuff. Nothing grabbed me - why stop making Tacos, literally one of the easiest meals to make and can be pre-made for easy serving...whatever.The beer "menu" was a receipt with beers written on it using a Bic pen. The server was new but VERY polite. She had glasses a septum ring and her hair was lightly dyed, very nice. I ordered a steak burger medium. It arrived pretty medium rare/borderline rare. I assume was the owner asked if it was ok. She offered to remake it. She brought it back minus silverware to eat the zucchini with so I just used my knife just to see if they would notice lol. They dident. Not surprising but that night I got pretty sick. Iv been ill for 2 days. I hadent ate anything else that day so a little food poisoning to cap the experience off. Overall just tremendously disappointed. Last time I ate here I had EASILY one of the most delicious meals Iv ever had. Chicken fingers with jalapeño waffles and honey. It blew my mind. I included a picture of it because I rember posting about how great it was on Facebook. Not sure if new owner or just old owner decided Asian Fusion wasent doing it, but in my opinion. You took a real step back. I'd rather go to Houlihans.GL.

I used to LOVE Vertigo. All of the food was amazing and the decor was great. But the last time I went was an entirely different experience. When we arrived, we were told that there would be a 15 minute wait to take our order, as the cook was behind. In today's world of everyone being short-staffed, this was completely understandable, and I didn't have a problem with this. But when the menus arrived, the entire selection had changed. We were told that the restaurant had a change in management. None of the original items were there (no fusion tacos or wontons!), and none of the selections were the unique "fusion" foods I was accustomed to or expecting. Very disappointing.

We had a fairly large group. I was worried it would be packed but nope it hardly had anyone there. Which was fine. The food is just good, nothing extraordinary. The biggest issue are the size of the drinks for the price. Not really worth it. I had the banana rum drink and it was so packed with ice, hardly any fluid. 9 bucks for that one. The service was slow, but understandable that it was one lady helping us. She did take good care of us and was very nice. I’ve heard a lot about this place and had no idea they rebranded. I wasn’t blown away by any means. It’s just ok but good. There is always room for improvement.

The wings were really good! The food was hot and fresh. The one young lady there was the bartender and server. She was working the front by herself but she did such a wonderful job. She was friendly and really sweet. Prices are comparable. You get a discount if you pay cash.

I've been meaning to come here for awhile. I kept hearing a lot of "it was better before" nonsense, and to be honest never listen to people. If you want to try a place. Go try it. With that being said, I've lived all around the country been to a million eateries, restaurants, dive bars, sports bars... you name it. There is a particular vibe I look for. Since I live within walking distance I've been wanting to find a place that is affordable, has nice TVs, energetic service, and a variety of good food. What I love about Vertigo is that it reminds me of the hood sports bars back home in Phoenix, AZ. The staff is friendly and always down to interact. Every time I've been in here it's been a positive experience with them. They also have bartenders that are fairly knowledgeable on mixology which to me is a win on the weekend. Which brings me to the food and drinks portion of my review. This is a fantastic "bar food" place. Their appetizers are spot on! They don't cost tooth and nail and the portions are spot on! I've yet to go to a place in "uptown" Columbus that provides shareable appetizers that are worth the $12. The Buffalo Chicken Dip with the Pita chips is a must! The wings are exactly what they should be for a sports bar vibe! As for main courses, I'm still working my way through them! But I loved the Buffalo chicken in a basil wrap! Perfect size! For the drink portions? Standard cocktail prices, tad bit cheaper than the surrounding wannabe 5 star bars. They mix them well (I don't know if y'all pay attention to that but that's actually pretty important) and do more than the standard liquor pour. Which makes the 10-12 drink worth it. The vibe in here is incredible. From the live music to the brand new TVs along the wall! My verdict is this: Best Sports Bar in town. Give it a shot. Come here with family and friends to watch sports and munch on the appetizers! Try their wraps or burgers before the entrees! And to be honest , don't listen to the goobers about this place. They have no clue. I've been in Columbus for almost a year and I feel I wasted a lot of time and money at the other sports bars. Critiques: I'd love to see these guys provide UFC fights in the future. There is presently no local sports bar/restaurant in uptown that show the fights. It's frustrating haha.

Their website will have you fully prepared for your vist. The curb appeal is nice its on the corner of 12th. They even have a parking lot next to the building. How wonderfuly convenient. Inside it so nice. Great color combination. Even a cute little table by the window to see the streets of downtown. Now my friend had suggested the Street corn dip. I tried it and there is no way really to explain it except a wonderful fusion of savory goodness. You will not be disappointed. Its a great place to have a meeting or catching up with a friend. The staff was kind and friendly. I will see you all again. You are on my favorite list? The black bean burger is amazing ?

Andrea is amazing and she definitely knows how to please a crowd!!! The whole place and staff was great, they comped a drink that I ordered and didn’t like and replaced it expeditiously! 10/10Kid-friendliness: They can cater to whatever your child is picky about.

One of my favorite restaurants in the downtown area! I love their new menu especially the buffalo chicken dip! And their drinks are always good!

My wife and I had been going there for three years. I don’t know what happened but it has changed 180 degrees in atmosphere and food quality. The service was great. We went at prime dinner time and the restaurant next door had a wait but we sat right down at vertigo with a total of two tables seated including us, that should have been a sign to leave. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the mango pineapple salsa and it looked like you just dumped mix fruit from Walmart in a bowl and added chips. It took ten minutes for the kitchen to put out a side of sauce we requested. They painted over the beautiful mural and now the place resembles a sports bar with an identity crisis. Unfortunately we won’t be going back after the drastic change. Hopefully the owner will go back to its original style.
