It was our first time there, we were not greeted or asked if we wanted the buffet or not, after standing in the doorway for a few minutes waiting to be acknowledged I finally asked someone who worked there what we were supposed to do and his response was to get in line, which was the buffet. Very good food! This is one of the best kept secret of Jackson County! Overall not a real fancy place, but it is family owned and ran & I definitely like to support the "mom & pop" establishments of our community over the big chains. The shrimp & crab cakes were very good, but to me the winner for the night was the ocean perch filet. It was cooked just right and was light and flaky. I am not a real big fish person, but I think I could eat Momma's perch...
Really good home cooked meal. Fried perch was the best, light and flaky. Cooked just right. Stuffed crabs and shrimp were really good. Make sure you try the cucumber salad and potato salad too.
