Crystal's Southern Cooking LLC

I recently discovered this wonderful spot, Crystal's Southern Cooking LLC, and I'm so glad I did! I had the baked chicken with rice and gravy and macaroni and cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, tender, and falling right off the bone, perfectly seasoned, and served hot. Every bite was full of flavor and southern comfort. And that side of cornbread? Chef's kiss!

The group I was with couldn't stop talking about their meals. The meatloaf, pork chops, and cabbage all got rave reviews too. You can really taste the love and care in every dish.

Next time I'm in Commerce, Georgia, I'll definitely be heading straight back to Crystal's Southern Cooking LLC. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't be disappointed!

This place hasn’t disappointed yet. Every single time it tastes perfect and reminds me of my grandmas cooking. I recommend the meatloaf, greens and Mac. Perfection 🫶🏼

Please don’t waste ur time here!! The food is NASTY!! Everything tasted old! We threw it out the window driving! What a waste of $36!! May just file a dispute with my bank! That’s how HORRIBLE it is!!! Wish I didn’t have to leave any stars!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. Catfish, okra, and Mac cheese was absolutely fantastic! This is our first time here and will definitely stop by again to try something else! ❤️

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Miss. Crystal is the SWEETEST, and she can COOK! We had a two hour drive home & didn’t stop talking about the food the whole time. We had ox tail, popcorn shrimp, mac & cheese, red beans & rice, potato salad, and cornbread.. all I’m saying is that my southern grandma’s cookin has some competition! Can’t wait to go back.

Complaints too numerous, we were treated rudely by the young lady at counter. Food was terrible. Never will eat there again.

This is the best restaurant for REAL SOUL FOOD!!!! Been to many soul restaurants and none have had as much soul as Mrs.Crystals! Cute little family owned restaurant! Deserves more love would be back again!

We stopped in while traveling. We order bbq, mac & cheese, greens & okra, & hush puppies. BBQ came out with tons of liquid as if it was soup with mustard all over the top. Mac & cheese literally had no cheese. The only thing we ate was greens & hush puppies. Food was absolutely disgusting. When I say my husband suggested to eat McDonald's then the food was bad. When we sat down at the table the napkins holder was so dusty , as well as the blinds on the window. The ladies bathroom had dried pee all over toilet seat. No soap to wash hands & no paper towels either. My husband said the men's bathroom was clean.

Love, love, loved this place! So adorable with all the purple and cute little tables. Really sweet people there too. It took a few minutes but you absolutely can tell in the taste. It's clearly made to order and they obviously put a lot of love into their food! Outstanding all the way around 👏 but special shout out for the sweet potato cornbread. I have weird allergies and sensitivities and they were understanding and the food didn't bother me a bit! Thanks y'all!

I drive over 30 minutes just to get to Crystal’s Southern Cooking, and it’s always worth it. Ms. Crystal and her family are so kind and welcoming — you can feel the love in the food and the service.

The greens? Seasoned to perfection. The fish and chicken? Always crispy, hot, and fresh. It tastes just like home-cooked Sunday dinner. You can tell they take pride in every plate. If you want real Southern comfort food made with heart, this is the place!

We stopped here on our way back to South Georgia from Helen because we were craving some good soul food and this place did not disappoint! The fried chicken was to die for.. crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The mac & cheese and rice with gravy were both delicious and comforting, just like a home-cooked meal. The cabbage was hands-down my favorite side, seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. We also tried the meatloaf, and it was really good too. Everything tasted fresh and made with love. Definitely worth the stop!

This place is the best in the area. Prices are good, food is great and plenty for your money and Crystal is amazing with her friendly customer service.

The oxtails and pot roast are the best and the rice and beans if you want to try. 🤗
