This is our family's go to for Mexican food in Commerce. Food and drinks are great and the staff has always been on top of everything even when we have gone on a busier day and/or time. Highly recommend if your looking for good Mexican food in the area.

We’ve dined several times. The location is not very big; the wait can be long if there is a number of people there. The dining area feels tight and seating can feel cramped here. The food was good, for the selection of choices offered.

Our go to spot in and around Commerce for Mexican! They have good food, great prices, and the best staff around! I recommend el barco, but you can’t go wrong with anything. If you’re a first timer, you seat yourself when you enter, but they’ll tend to you quickly!

I wanted to take a moment to review this business. First the prices are better than you expect. Every day of the week they have a lunch special. Today's lunch special was $5.99.And at a lot of places you would get a buttered biscuit for that. The food was also really good and the restaurant is in a really old antique building in the old downtown. I would recommend this.
