Hands down, the best Kbbq spot within a 30min radius of Athens, maybe even further. I've had a lot of Kbbq in my lifetime and this spot ranks really high for me. The side dishes are very traditional and the quality of the meats are very fresh and seasoned great.

The food is authentic and delicious to where you find yourself leaving extremely full, not to get your money's worth, but because it is so dang good. There are typically things you don't get at AYCE, but anything you get here will be good. Everything is of really high quality and tastes great.

The service was absolutely impeccable. Everything moved super quick and the staff was very polite and was very observant of the table's needs and preferences. We had a really great time and were extremely impressed and thankful for our server who was also cooking our meats at the time.

It is super cozy inside, not dark or loud and really pleasant to chat with your table and eat comfortably.
I really wish this place was closer to where I live, but when I am craving Kbbq in the future, I know exactly where I will be going.

Overall an amazing experience. Food was fantastic and service was outstanding. I did the AYCE (All You Can Eat) The starters have a great variety and I tried a good amount of the meats. All were great quality. Would highly recommend this place!

I was a frequent flyer at this restaurant for a very long time. I always order the same thing everytime I go. Large soy stew, (which has no meat) large salad, no rice, no meat. Cost never a problem as long as i get what i enjoyed, and tips left were ratherly large. I'm vegetarian! I was told I could not get the soy stew in a large. I would have to eat the meat soups! If the person had only taken the time to go get someone else. Which most know me, I would not have had to decline and walk out after an hour drive! 12/25/2025 4:45PPM
This is not to sway others from visiting this location. This is for my dissatisfaction only!

We've only been once, so we went with no expectations and then once inside, we did mention that it was our first time and still had no idea at all how to order or how the process works, but we had decided to do the buffet for 2. They brought out a lot of side dishes that we did not recognize, nor did we know if it was cooked or raw. The cook was very nice and explained how it all worked, but we started off very confused and ended up very happy with the service and food! We will definitely be back.

I dropped by Mr.K BBQ recently with a couple of friends — and it turned into one of those nights where you just eat, laugh, and leave thinking “that was worth it.” As soon as we walked in, we got hit with that unmistakeable K‑BBQ vibe: tabletop grills, small side dishes already laid out, the smell of meat and marinade in the air. It feels casual but still like a “special‑occasion” kind of spot — good for a night out, a chill dinner with friends, or even a small celebration.

We went for the all‑you‑can‑eat option. First plates came with a mix: marinated pork belly, thin‑sliced pork, some beef bulgogi, and sides including glass noodles and a few banchan. The meat was fresh, and grilling it right at the table made it feel fun — flipping, waiting, smelling, then finally that first sizzling bite. The bulgogi was nicely seasoned, the pork belly had a good fat‑to‑meat ratio, and those side dishes helped make the meal feel complete. Portions were generous, and we definitely left full.

Service was friendly. Staff helped bring meat, drop off more sides, and made sure our grill stayed topped up. They weren’t overbearing — just enough to keep things smooth and easy. The atmosphere was relaxed: people talking, meat grilling, conversation over plates and drinks. It doesn’t feel fussy or forced; it felt more like a comfortable, good‑food kind of evening.

If you’re in the mood for meat, shared tables, easy‑going vibes, and a little bit of “make‑your‑own dinner” fun at the table, Mr.K BBQ does it right. It hits the spot when you just want comfort, flavor, and a good time — no pretension required. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We’re SO glad to have found Mr K BBQ! It’s legit. We prefer Korean dishes other than the BBQ, and they were great. bibimbop, Beef and Cabbage stew and the beef brisket stew were great. Our waitress refilled our ban Chan without us asking- again, it’s COMERCE GA, and it get legit Korean food is a score!! Go try them out!

My family's first time trying Korean barbecue and we absolutely loved it! We got the pork and chicken combo and loved everything about it. The meats were all delicious and the sides were amazing. The pickled diakon was wonderful, and our son loved the corn dish.
Despite the shopping center outside, it was very clean inside, and clean restrooms.
We arrived right shortly after opening and watched the dining room quickly fill up.
Service was excellent as well.
We went for my son's birthday, and they gave him a little moon pie treat with a candle. He was very happy, and it was such a nice touch on an already wonderful experience.

Went with colleagues for lunch and the portions are quite overwhelming, being your appetite! Very traditional Korean food served, lots of variety and a good introduction to another culture. Very enjoyable!

We had the AYCE grill. The grill offerings are varied. My opinion, something for everything. We had Bulgogi Beef, Spicy Pork Belly, Spicy shrimp, marinated pork, steak (not sure the name on the menu) and grill squid. My favorites were the Beef Bulgogi and the Marinated Pork. The sides were typical of Korean cuisine. Served with the AYCE was Soy Bean Paste Stew which was delicious! It might be spicier than some would like. I highly recommend Mr K’s for any type of Korean cuisine. We have eaten the noodle dishes in the past. They all have been delicious. Great service and great portions. Peach Soju is good too!
