Found this restaurant like “home”. Friendly, hot food, ice cold iced tea, and food that is seasoned, like grandma would make on Sunday for company! It is my new favorite place to eat!
We stopped in for lunch today. Decided to try the "Poppy" Pork Sandwich Special for 6$ and it was delicious. The bun was crispy and soft, pork was savory and tender. Our fries were very good and cooked nicely. Everything was hot. The Sweet Sauce was very good too. Big cups for the drinks was a plus. Everyone was friendly when we walked inside and during our lunch time. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and was clean. Will be back for lunch!
Fed three huge teenage boys for under $100...and they needed take home boxes!!! Sampled some of all their meats...sausage,pulled pork and chicken,and brisket...all perfect. Can't wait to try their ribs. Ask for Katrina...perfect waitress
