Delicious! We went here with our friend Barb, who was very excited to try this to place. Barb's did not disappoint!! The beef manhattan (open faced roast beef) was great. The homemade gravy was super good. Everybody else had club sandwiches & fries, which they greatly enjoyed. Service was spot on. Can't wait to go back for breakfast.

One of the best little cafes we have stopped at. The sunflower special for breakfast was great and more than I could eat. My husband had the meatloaf and really liked it. Highly recommend and we would definitely eat there again!

My daughter and I went to Barb's today for the first time . The restaurant is quaint and the food was good. However the waitress was very rude . I waitressed in the 80's to help pay for college at very large and busy establishments. We both thanked the waitress several times and she never responded and was making comments when we paid about a lady that was filling out a job application . I know there is a staffing shortage but this young gal was horrible . May go back for take out .

This place is a small delight. The food is good and the staff is extremely accommodating ( kinda like customer service used to be). My son had the pancakes and they were delicious. Just be warned there almost as big as the plate. Give Barbs a try, you won't be disappointed.

Barb’s is on our way to the lake and we always try to patronize local businesses, so we stopped in for lunch. The inside is clean and spacious. It’s tastefully decorated as a country café. We were greeted immediately and seated. The server was pleasant and friendly. Our drinks took a couple of minutes because our waitress wanted me to have fresh sweat tea. Everything on the menu looks delicious, but we decided on the Country Fried Steak and BBQ chicken. They were not slow in serving, but I knew that the amount of time meant that each dish is prepared fresh. Everything was excellent and the cornbread is as good as momma makes. The size of the servings was very generous, and I got to take some home. We were checked on often but not so that it was bothersome. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. If you’re in the area, or even close by, stop in and see Barb. You’ll be glad you did.

Everything was tip top except gravy was a little salty.(-1/2 star) Service was stellar & everyone was friendly. Clean, tasty & reasonable price. WE WILL BE BACK!

This place is awesome. Hasn't been around very long but everything I have ordered was very good. The staff is very friendly. Food is cooked to order so it's always hot and fresh. I highly recommend this place if your in Covington. They have an awesome breakfast. I will be back many times.

Very well run family restaurant. Quiet and clean. I have eaten there over a dozen times. The breakfast is served all day and there are many choices. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. A must is to have a clean restroom and this restaurant meets that criteria. You will not be disappointed with your choice of meals.

I am a local and have eaten here over a dozen times. The owners are on site and operate an excellent establishment. The interior is well set up for large or small groups There are 6 booths with ample well spaced tables. The service is excellent with a large breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The prices are reasonable. The chef always checks with the guests to inquire on quality of the meal. There is also a large private meeting room available. This small family restaurant has been open about a year. There is ample parking.
