I sincerely have mixed reviews about this restaurant. A week ago I went there on a Friday to place a to-go order. The food was so good that I sat in my car (outside the restaurant)and ate it. The lady who served me seemed to be the owner and was super friendly. Today I went back and let me tell you. The crew that on the evening shift all need to be replaced. This was my first meal in Georgia and still the best one I had there so far. It felt incredibly random to go to a sports bar for soul food at noon in the middle of this small town but I’m glad we came here.
I would say this was better than Mary Mac’s Tea Room.

Steve Spruill and I both highly recommend Blockers Soul Food Restaurant LLC. Atmosphere is sporty with nice music at just the right volume. Everything is clean, dust free and comfortable. Service is top notch. Food is delicious, hot, well seasoned, expertly prepared and served with a smile. We will definitely be back.
