This place is the real deal. Totally authentic. I think it's the best Mexican food I've ever had. Don't be scared, go in and head to the back and place your order...if you like good food, you'll be coming back again and again.

This was seriously authentic Mexican food and really great. Ive really missed REAL Mexican and this hit the spot. It is in the middle of an ethnic market and there are only about three tables, but we took ours to go and didn't care. Excellent!

Holy sh** this food is amazing! Tried half of tbe meny and went back the next day. Best chorizo and chicken Mexican dishes I have ever had. Chorizo from other places is greasy, theirs is perfect. Slight heat, full of flavor. How they have bot been ranked more is crazy! OMGOODNESS try this place TONIGHT!

Service is out friggin standing. I don't care that some folks consider this place to be small time basic. I LIKE that and they care about their patrons. Food off the charts. Pics should say it all. Owner knows a good bit English, appreciates those whom attempt espanol. Meat from their butcher is throw rocks at your grocery store GOOD. Bought chorizo tres libros is some food that's worth a heart attack. Give this place and the people whom work there a chance. You won't be disappointed, however it's like a family. If your not noticed, let them know you are there. ENJOY !

I just wanted to say that the food here is as good or better than ever two years later. We had a delicious meal there yesterday, we go there as often as we can, and feel really lucky to have this taqueria in Covington. Great people, great food, great everything!

Legit authentic taqueria inside a small yet sweet Mexican market. Friendly staffs and good, fresh ingredients. Small portion but that's even better so you can try other dishes. Will return very soon.
Oh my goodness, so very good!!! I was driving through Covington with girlfriends and we needed to make a lunch stop. We decided we wanted Mexican so looked on yelp and found this place. I got the burrito asada, one friend got the burrito pollo, and the other got two carnitas tacos. Everything was delicious. The people were also super friendly. Would go again in a heartbeat.

The best, most authentic Mexican food in the Covington/Conyers area. I have eaten almost everything on the menu and it is all delicious. In addition to the regular menu options they offer delicious homemade soups and corn tortillas on the weekend. As far as the building itself, it's a mini grocery store with the restaurant in the back. However, don't let the store/decor fool you, as it's truly amazing food! If you are looking for authentic and great tasting food, be sure to stop in.
