On April 1, 2025, during noon, my family called this store to speak to Gloria, the general manager and was told to call back in 20 minutes. My family called back and an adult female which a heavy raspy voice answered the phone like an enemy called her. She told my family that Gloria is not the general manager's name and that "you got the right one," aggressively while asking for accurate information concerning the presence of the general manager in this location. She sounded combative and full of debate. This employee was not helpful and told a lie by saying that the general manager was at the Panola road location, which IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. If the worker here tells lies with an aggressive tone after one asks for the general manager with a calm tone, this place is garbage. I RECOMMEND NOTHING HERE. Church's chicken as a company has declined.

I was really craving churches chicken . I’m on a road trip and I arrived at 10:30am they said they won’t be ready until 11am . When online it said it was already open
The restaurant is due to close at 11pm and they constantly close at 10pm, sometimes earlier!!! Everyday!
Chicken was dry and not much flavor. Not at all what I was use to. Then I was looking forward to their apple pies. But, there wasn't a drop of icing on them. Very disappointed on this trip.

Chicken not fully cooked, I can see an ecoli outbreak in the near future! Staff needs to change timer and cook accordingly 😉
Parking: Take time to fully cook regardless of how many cars are in line, or people waiting!
Restaurantji Recommends

I stoped by this afternoon. It was busy, but the woman taking my order was really nice. Only had half of my order available in spicy, and I am not sure what they did to make the spicy chicken…..but keep it up! That was potentially the best spicy fried chicken I have had.

I'm so very disappointed. Went up to the drive thru, ordered a 3 piece white combo w/ a sweet tea. Cashier took my order and was very nice and friendly . I get my food and leave. I should have known that the cashier was being overly friendly for a reason because of what I'm about to discover when I get home. She knew that she was getting ready to pass off food to me that they needed to get rid of but didn't want to throw away and had been sitting for what looked like days. The first thing that I noticed about my order was there were 3 breast in the box which is unusual when ordering a combo unless you specify that's what you want. I'm thinking ok I really got my money's worth this time because usually they don't give 3 breast, they usually include wings. Then I take a bite of a piece of the chicken, or should I say I tried to take a bite😮. This was the hardest, driest lukewarm piece of chicken that I've ever had from anywhere. All 3 pieces were as hard as rocks and the sweet tea tasted like watered down unsweetened tea. Talking about a disappointment. She deliberately served me food that she knew was not edible. The food wasn't fit for a dog to eat let alone a human. I had to throw all of the food away. Had I not gotten so far from the restaurant I definitely would have taken that food back to them. That is unacceptable and something needs to done about them and any other restaurants serving food that has sat for so long. She should be fired on the spot. This could have been a health risk. How is this place still in business? It's obvious that they do this often because they were to comfortable with doing it to me. I am beyond angry. People want what they pay for and that is definitely not what I paid for 😤😠
