They advertise that they take EBT but they do not
Wonderful fish market with fresh fish, this is as fresh as you can get when you want fresh fish. They keep their fish flash frozen fresh and that is the only way to purchase because that is what is the freshest, they're a very wonderful Christian owned business and polite and considerate of others and the food is delicious. I couldn't say enough about this little hidden gem out in Covington Georgia
Stop by for quick lunch plate, both the service and the food was amazing. Place is extremely clean and the wait time was less than 15mins on a fish plate.
dont do it…🤢…stopped one evening while i was craving fried fish, driving home the whole car smelling fishy. I started to eat and the fish slimy and dark inside🤮. threw it in the trash and took a lost. #lessonlearned
Service bad food not good anymore I guess the best cook left
Everything I ordered was good, catfish was top notch ,potato salad was good, baked beans was good, I'll be back soon I promise you.
The flounder was soooo good. You should visit this restaurant. Plus the owners are very friendly and professional.
These folks have the best fried fish in town. The flounder is amazing.
This place is OVERPRICED for what you get. The Catfish was fatty, fishy and cheap tasting. Had a Three Piece-Two average size pieces and a very tiny piece at the bottom. The green beans were HORRIBLE and undercooked!!! The macaroni and cheese was HORRIBLE also!!! The vegetables were in a tiny souffle cup which was a turn off. The Establishment seem to be clean. The young lady at the counter was courteous. Not sure if I will be returning no time soon. Changes most certainly will have to made.
The portion size for sides are small fish was cooked well
I may be wrong but the fish doesn't seem to be fresh. It's frozen and then maybe thawed out or slacked
Restaurantji Recommends
I've seen this place for awhile and tonight I was in the mood for some catfish so I gave them a try, Wow, it was some of the best catfish I've ever eaten plus the portions were very generous, the fried okay and the baked beans were also very good. If you're ever out in the Covington Ga area, give them a try, they're on the east side of Covington on Hwy 278 across from the Ingles Shopping Center. They also have all kinds of other fish, craps, shrimps, lobster tails even fried gator which is not my cup of tea but it's there if you want it, no kidding, you have to give this place a shot, you won't be sorry. 9157 US-278, Covington (770) 788-9966

My order was ready in 7 minutes. When I got home, the food was still hot and delicious. I highly recommend Covington Seafood Market for a great variety of fresh fish!
On 10/16/24 Covington Fish House ? has changed ownership & Management!! Unfortunately we would be taking our business elsewhere. The quality of the food is below standards as well as their hospitality. Also should have known better when the outside & indoor Menus were gone. It was a good spot while the "Lady " Had it.
You order 2 piece catfish w fries you get swai fillet cut into 3 small pieces. Never go their again no price boards me menus whathout they tried to cheat me never go their again
I called in to place an order at 6:30 they said that you have to come in a place an order because they close at 7:00. I called my girlfriend and she was around the corner and got there in less than 5 min literally at 6:35 and they said they can’t take any orders. Ever since the black lady( I can’t remember her name) left this place has went down hill and I’ve spent a lot of money with them. They just lost a loyal customer.
