Delicious food! Never disappoints. The fried okra is my favorite I’ve ever had.

No body greeted or spoke to us as we arrived and was waiting for everyone I'm our party to get there. So if you've never been here- go to the register and order your meal- there is no wait staff to greet you, seat and take your order.
Delicious home made food and desserts! They also do catering.

Vegetarian options: Delicious cakes and pies
Fried pork chops
Hoppin John
Cornbread
The buttermilk pie was so good- reminded me of granny's.

The food was so delicious. I had the oxtails over rice and gives you a generous portion for the price.

Small portions. But tasty.
My first time there they gave away cake but they gave away the las piece before i ordered. So I can't vouch on any deserts yet, but if you need a cooked plate and don't require big portions, then this is your place. I only eat once a day so I prefer my meal to be hearty. Especially if the food is good. I would go more if they up the servings. Otherwise. Good service. Good food. Good everything.

Staff was friendly, waited 15mins for waiter to take our order, another 25mins for veggie plate to be done. I thought it was strange how she showed the other patrons their plates but she just bagged up my plate. I opened it when I got home and was not pleased, dressing just tasted like sage, Mac barely had cheese and was oily, greens had no taste to them.

Vegetarian options: Waitress told me all their sides are made with no meat which is a plus.

Hands down the best food in all of the Atlanta area! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Reminds me of the home cooked meals that my mom use to make when I was a kid.

I’ve been loving EleaJs since her first location in Conyers GA. We were elated when we found out she moved to Covington years ago. Never had a bad experience, food is always fresh, hot and delicious. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all good. Always strives to be accommodating to her customers; a very warm, family style environment.

I came to LJ’s on Sunday, June 23, 2024 115p waited 45 minutes to get my food. The food was not fresh and flies were landing all over our food. The oxtails were old and salty, black eye peas look like mash potato paste , and the collard greens very salty. The waitress with the black glasses said the food was freshly prepared upon opening she lied. The waitress got upset when questioned about the wait time to get service, food, and quality of food. Please do not waste your money or time. My first time at the establishment and was very very disappointed. I will not be returning to eat at Elea J’s and the best part about my experience was paying the bill when I ordered my family meals. Not assessable for wheelchairs or handicap clients. I do not recommend any of their food to anyone not even my pet. The price you pay does NOT meet the food quality. The restaurant should be shut down immediately

Been here twice on lunch. The food is sooo good. Authentic soul food, not the mass produced, bland "country cookin" that's available in the area. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, great music.
