I got the jerk chicken and curry chicken. Both tasted amazing along with the cabbage and rice. Super happy with the taste and will be back. Definitely recommended if you're around Covington. Can't forget the portion sizes are huge!

Nope! I’ve had better! It doesn’t even taste like curry goat. It’s tough and has many bones. My husband and I wanted some Jamaican food and decided to try this place. Ewww! Customer service sucks! Young lady in the front has a dead soul! No professionalism! I ordered curry goat and rice only!! My husband ordered oxtails dinner! We both said the food was nasty!! We’ve had better! Never again! $54.00 down the drain! Damn! And, I was hungry!!

I typically don’t leave negative reviews on restaurants. I call to give the restaurant an opportunity to make it right, in this case when I called the restaurant to express my complaint about the poor quality of the food I was asked to leave my name and number and they will call back.. I placed an order for a regular size jerk chicken it came with rice and peas and cabbage and plantain. I also asked that my sauce placed on the side and was charged an additional dollar for that request. The chicken was dry. The skin was burnt, as if it had been left in the warming table all day. The rice and peas was OK. The cabbage had a very vinegar like taste, and the plantain was very soft and mushy as if they were intending on making a casserole.

They don’t respond to catering orders. I tried 3 times to put in a catering request. Gwen never called me back. They are non-responsive. It was their loss.

The toughest Ox tail I ever tried to eat. Who ever cooked them must have been their first time cooking oz tail. I'll try another dish. No carrot juice, I guess the owner makes it if you ask.

Would never go here again. I enter the building, and no one is there. The light skin little girl at the counter tried to play stupid. I asked how much a small oxtail was, and she said it was $29. I asked if I could taste the gravy because I had never been there before. She tells me No! She can not do that. I'm like, "Could you go and ask the chef?" She goes in the back and takes like 3 minutes and comes back with a small ramekin of some gravy. I told her never mind, you taste that and walked out. I would never ever go back here.

So upset that I spent my last bit of money to go this restaurant of all restaurants, I had to choose this one! Food absolutely just not good! I got the curry chicken and it was barely done meaning you could see some pink with just no taste to it; cabbage of course wasn't cooked AND no taste and lastly but not least, the planterns, really nasty and no taste. I know you don't cook cook those but let them fry a little! None of my food was enjoyable and now I'm broke and still hungry! We gotta stop paying these businesses for trashy Food especially with these high prices! You all really disappointed me!! Cook and season your damn Food!
