Hot and Spicy has excellent customer service and spacious seating. My husband and I got the jerk chicken and brown stewed chicken. The portions were very generous, but I was definitely missing the spicy part which is disappointing because I was ready for my taste buds to dance. If you like mild jerk this would be the place for you! The brown stew chicken was flavorful and reminded my husband of African food!

My family didn't really like the oxtail, but the mac and cheese, rice, and peas were really good, and the plantains were ripe and sweet. I am not writing off because I have to try their ackee and saltfish to make my determination. Overall, an ok spot.

This place is great! The lunch special is fair priced and you get large portions. The woman that is running it was nice and made sure I was happy. I'd definitley recommend stopping in and trying this spot out!

I usually get an oxtail platter from here, but the oxtail gravy is salty every time. I don't really eat here anymore. The j*** pork was dry, and the j*** chicken was burnt. I rather save my money and cook at home.

Please please stop saying that this is a Jamaican restaurant. I was set to have some Jamaican style oxtails but I was brutally disappointed. All the food was seasoned with salt and pepper onlyYUKE. Terrible! $21 for a small oxtail and $30 for a large. The food was and is disgusting. THEY can't cook. Please stop taking peoples money, please.

When I came I said, it seems like every Jamaican person feels like just because they are Jamaican their food will be good, and I have to concur here. Their food was super salty. All of it. I ordered the curry chicken and it was extremely salty. I don’t eat rice and even the spinach was salty. The Pattie’s were burned severely. Don’t go here. My family was from out of town and I was embarrassed.

Staff was friendly but needs more training. Brown stew chicken was just OK and was a pile of bones. I may have gotten 3 decent bites of meat from about 8 to 10 pieces filled with bones. Staff should give larger portions so that you at least get some MEAT with your bones. Flavors were just OK. Food seems reheated and does not seem fresh. Portions were small for the prices :-(

I accidentally discovered this spot and now it’s my sweet serendipity! I will try everything there because so far not one thing has disappointed me… The entrees…so far I’ve had the callaloo, rice and peas, j*** chicken(sauce on the side), cabbage, macaroni and cheese, coco bread, patties… every juices/drink to include the peanut! This is another 5 star yum yum for me! If you’re into trying things for health.. try the sea moss…elderberry and mango ? it’s truly authentic!

I had to give this restaurant one star that hasn't been earned. By far this is the worst so called Jamaican food I have ever tasted in my life. This is a disgrace to the Jamaican culture!!!! The food looks old, ants crawling on the walls and beside the food trays, poorly seasoned food with an after taste. The entire plate of food was thrown in the trash (wasn't cheap either).

I do try supporting my own, and this I did. But was very disappointed, and the sad part was that I was I decided to introduce a co worker to Jamaican food that day.I had j*** chicken and he tried curry. He said it was okay, which I hoped it was, because he didn’t know different, but my j*** chicken didn’t come close. It was really bland, lacked flavor, really and I would’ve given them another shot and chop it up to a bad day, but they are extremely expensive.Interestingly, before I went there another of my coworkers who i had introduced to Jamaican food before checked it out and he came back cussing me (and I didn’t even send him there lol), because of how much he paid for 2 oxtails dinner, and I explain to him that the price seemed high but oxtails is normally expensive. But I went and they are ridiculously expensive.Karen’s international, island vibes or milo’s for me in conyers, waay better food, for better prices, plus they’re closer, or I’ll even take GK.I’m sorry but I was greatly disappointed.

My wife and I were so disappointed. My j*** chicken was so dry like it was day old chicken. I can tell it was not fresh. Customer service is not great. Was not greeted while inside the restaurant. I do not recommend at all. Stay far away. Old dry chicken, old crunchy dry rice… I normally like to support local small businesses but I will not be returning

The jerk chicken was too burnt, even with the jerk sauce added. I could still taste the burnt taste. Definitely was not happy this time around. The curry shrimp that was cooked to order on my last visit was very good though?
