The food is always pretty good and I enjoy it. Today was different the lady at the desk was gave poor customer service. Her attitude was not nice at all. I had to wait for her to take my order. She got smart with me about extra jerk sauce saying that the man had to pay to make it and you can only get jerk sauce free when you order something jerk. Then ask do you want it or not, I always get extra jerk sauce with my oxtails. Don't mind paying extra but it was just her attitude. Then a couple came in and she took her time waiting on them as well. They might have been short staff but that's not a reason to be rude. Overall I do enjoy the food you get a little for your money.

I made a reservation for 14 people for my husband's birthday dinner for Friday night at 6:30pm. I spoke to a woman the day of and she confirmed the reservation. However, when we arrived, they were closed. What kind of business makes a reservation, confirm the reservation, then the restaurant doesn't open? If nothing else they could've contacted me to tell me something happened and they would not be open. I guess they would've made them professional which they are not!! I don't know how they stay open with this kind of behavior. I had to scramble to search for another restaurant in the area to accommodate 14 people for my husband's birthday dinner. TRIFLING with a capital T. What's the point of having good food when you're not open when you're supposed to be. I would not recommend this place because you will never know when they'll be open. I was very disappointed to say the least. I received no phone call, no apology, NOTHING. They need to be consistent and shutdown for good because this is not how a successful business owner manages they're business. They win first place for worst business owner!! If you go there and it's closed. Don't say you weren't warned!!

Been here about 3 times so far. Would have been at least 5 times, but they were closed on days other than Mondays when they should have been open. Unfortunately, I brought a large group both of these times, and we had to end up going to Stevie B's Pizza instead. But the times we have gone and they were open, we all greatly enjoyed our food--- everyone. The curry chickpeas are AMAZING. I have also had the candied yams, the plantain, the rice and peas, I think the red snapper or salmon, and other people have had chicken and other plates and they all LOVED their food! This kind of food is not fast food so it doesn't come very quickly but it came in a more than acceptable amount of time and no one in our group was disappointed with the timing , because we expected to take a little bit longer for quality food. We thought the service atmosphere were also great and friendly. The bathrooms were pretty clean, no concerns. The sorrel was also magnificent! I introduced my non-Caribbean coworkers to sorrel and they all loved it! I would come here again and again and support this place, but it's a shame that they are not open sometimes on the days when they should be and sometimes seem understaffed-- but I know it's hard to find help these days, trust me. I really hope this place survives and I plan to support them by bringing others whenever I can.
Vegetarian options: There are enough vegetarian side dishes that you could have a complete meal and be satisfied.
Parking: Never issues finding a spot during lunchtime or dinner

I ordered the Ox Tail, cabbage, rice and peas, which were really good except for the cabbage. It wasn't fully cooked to my liking. The Ox Tail, though was amazing, and served in a overly generous portion. If you love Ox Tail. This is the place. You won't be disappointed. My grandson had the curry goat, yellow rice, collard greens and Mac n cheese. It was all good. This was our first time here, but it will not be our last. The price is right for the generous portions. Try it for your self.

this is my first time here at this restaurant I was greeted very poorly by this lady. I waited 30 minutes for my food, and it was not what I was hoping for. I order the oxtail pasta and the pasta watery and did not have a Alfredo consistency and also the oxtails mid. I definitely will not be paying $25 for that again. I also will never be going back there again.

I ordered delivery from here a couple of times in the last two weeks. The first couple of times the order was spot on, everything Deliscious. The last two times, my order wasn't correct as ordered and it seemed like they just gave me what they wanted. The oxtails the last two times were a bit salty but not overly done and my oxtails had alot of fat. Now thats ok for added juices n flavor but not good for consumption. I guess I will have to call before I order online yo make sure all is good. Now fam, please make sure you get the oxtail happy family, ? ? ? ? ? is all I'm saying. Off da meter!!!

So believe me I am a man who loves island food. An I have tried many all up and down the east coast plus a few in Jamaica. This spot is Jamaica in GA. The vibes are on point, music food and the art on the wall all makes you feel like you are in jamaica. I went on a Tuesday after 5pm so there was no one there. However they have speakers and a dj set in the corner which makes me think they are live and pumpin Thurs through Sat. The food was awesome, seasoned and hot. I had jerk chicken and you can tell the food just came off the grill. The taste had me shaking my head up it was that tastefull. My plantains where a little dry but they were still good. If you like mac&cheeze try theres its amazing. If I have any followers go try this place asap and Tellem the King sent you. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.I did not get any drinks but they have a full bar. I will be back soon. The only reason i did not give them 5 stars is because i have to see how this place works when there are more people and if they are truly bringing the islands to GA. For now 4 out of 5 stars. ??
