I’ve eaten there at least 10 times since they opened and honestly the food isn’t that good it taste like old grease and the fries especially. I only eat here when my options are limited after the first few times due to them being a 2 minute drive and I’m starving most nights f the time. They’re very rude and I’ve looked past it several times. The energy in there is so depressing with the staff just staring at you from the time you get there and they all look like they don’t want to be there. Won’t get my business anymore.

By far this is one of the best, JJ, fish and chicken I’ve ever been to. What excites me about this particular restaurant is that, the whole wing is there! That’s right you get the whole wing for the price of one! Great job JJ’s fish & chicken. The fish was all I wanted on the 1st two visits until the cashier accidentally mixed up my order and gave me wings. I was hot when I got home and noticed my fish wasn’t there until I bit into one of those wings. Ok long story short, it’s all good! So far I’ve had the flounder, whiting, perch, wings & fries. I don’t usually give five star ratings after my order has been messed up, but I must say, Not all mistakes turn out bad! S/O to Nadim for great customer service.

The manager is rude, ignorant and disrespectful and profane. I canceled two orders because of his behavior. This business is located in a predominantly African-American neighborhood and after I conference with the local authorities had discovered a troubled business with no locals hired as employees. All of the employees are from Etiopia or Samolia. But they operate in African-American neighborhoods, are disrespectful to African-Americans and do not hire African-Americans.The food was over fried, greasy and over salted. I have been to several in other states and the atmosphere are exactly the same.

Ordered for the first time today. Both my husband and I ordered the catfish nugget meal. The good thing is everything smelled good, and I loved the fact that they weren’t stingy with the nuggets. It was so much food that we both played half of it, to eat the remainder later. Needless to say we were both excited to eat.Unfortunately the food was not up to par. The included coleslaw was super tiny. It was also bland and didn’t really taste like anything. I could look past that because it wasn’t the main dish. What I couldn’t ignore was the fact that the catfish nuggets were extremely fishy tasting. I mean they were disgusting. Add in the fact that I ended up with a bunch of hard bones in some of the nuggets. We tried to jazz it up with hot sauce and tartar sauce, but it still turned out inedible and ending up trashing it. I’m super annoyed because the entire meal was ruined. Wasted $25 because neither of us plan to eat the other half.I will not be eating at this establishment again, and it’s sad because I heard such things about this place.

I have only order for delivery and each time I received it rather quick. Food was good: chicken, whole fish catfish and flounder, shrimp. Not a fan of the fries or veggies could be too much grease for me because all the fried option. Cole slaw is small but good they always give two containers when I’ve ordered it.

I didn't know they put a JJ's in Covington. There were some happy customers in the store ?. One guy was in there making comments about how good the fish was. Another guy was rubbing his hands together in anticipation of getting his hands on it. He said, "Don't leave out any additives. Put it in the bag!!!" He must be a regular. I know I will be going there and ordering on the spot. It will be nice and hot when I get home.

Oh yeah!!! That's all you need to know, it's good and have huge whole wings that are crunchy and when you through the hot sauce they have on it , look out!, It make the chicken wings or the huge tenders just be more delicious , but you can put that same sauce on other menu items too! I just don't eat fish products , but my friends love their catfish and other fish ! If you get chicken platter , you also get your choice of fries or another side & it come with 2 slices of bread& usually a little sample of Coleslaw, but whatever you get , it gonna be good and fresh hot and they have a variety of slushes drink all kind of flavors! I think it good for the money and you can't hardly close the takeout container because so much food ! Hell to the Yeah! That's what I'm talking about! Give it a try if want to fill your belly and stop that stomach from growling and making all that noise!
