Been driving by this place driving to Athens for years. Had to come from a different direction this time going somewhere else. Knew we needed a place to eat. Stopped in and had some Great pulled pork sandwiches and stew! Will be back!

My favorite burger place is 951 miles away in Texas, but the half pound burger here was about the closest I've found in Georgia. Wide patty, wide bun, lots of fixings. Good slaw and hushpuppies, too. Limited seating for dine-in, but it was empty when I got there so not a problem and expected for a place that probably does mostly take out.

We have always wanted to stop and try their BBQ. We have and was not impressed at all. No smoky taste at all to the meat and not the friendliest service either. Both of us agreed to mark that off our list of places to eat when we are traveling through the area.

Definitely feel like this place needs a name change, maybe “Kelly’s burgers and bbq”?While sitting inside the restaurant I definitely overheard more customers order burgers than bbq. After placing my order and sitting down I understand why. The bbq itself is nothing special, just your typical pulled pork. The table had 3 different sauce mild, hot, and sweet. All sauces were good. Cole slaw was fine chopped and tasted dry fresh it was missing something maybe a little more sugar for sweetness. Brunswick Stew is very tomato tasting with huge kernels or corn. It almost taste more like vegetable soup than stew. Dinning area is very small without a lot of seating. I didn’t try the cheeseburger but I would definitely get that over the BBQ.

When it comes to lunch in a small town there is always a long time BBQ restaurant to try out with all the locals. Fast friendly and good food at a great price. Even as I was leaving this review I heard another customer say “ wow that was quick“

I called this location to order food for lunch, the first call i get hung up on, the second call they pickup but don't greet me just having a side conversation in the background. i give them a few moments because they might've been assisting a customer. then they hang up again. I call back and get the same thing i hear them laughing in the back, give them a few mins and then get hung up on again. I love this place but i probably will not go back due to poor customer service. They could've at least told me to hold or even just let the phone ring but to be hung up on twice, very rude. So unfortunate.

If you're looking for a BBQ resteraunt that doesn't have BBQ chicken or brisket, this is the place! Guess things are a little different in Loganville!

Title: Disappointing Experience at Kelly's Barbecue in Walnut Grove, GeorgiaI recently had the chance to visit Kelly's Barbecue in Walnut Grove, Georgia, which has been a must-stop for me whenever I pass through the area. However, this time around, my visit left me greatly disappointed.I ordered my usual barbecue sandwich with coleslaw and pickles, toppings that I believe complement it perfectly. To my dismay, even though I was charged for these extras, they were missing from my sandwich. This oversight led me to discard the sandwich, which was disappointing and frustrating. What added to my disappointment was the apparent lack of attention from the two young girls who were preparing the food. They seemed preoccupied with something other than their job, which affected the quality of the meal and the overall experience. As someone who enjoys supporting local mom and pop restaurants, I must say that Kelly's Barbecue in Walnut Grove, Georgia, fell short of my expectations. I regret to say that I won't be returning on my future journeys through the area, and I cannot recommend this establishment to others. It is my hope that a more reliable and customer-focused barbecue restaurant will emerge in the area to better serve the residents of Walnut Grove, as Kelly's Barbecue does not meet the mark.

The service seems friendly. But not too welcoming. Only go there because it's close to my job and when I don't bring my lunch. Other than that food is ok, especially the tenders and fries!Parking: The parking lot is pretty small.
