The only place I will go for a relaxing coffee in Covington. The decor and atmosphere lend a serene feel – a soothing oasis during a hectic day! I am a big fan that it is locally owned. Go when weather is nice and enjoy the open doors and fresh air. It took me a few tries to find the coffee I preferred - so don't give up! Parking is not necessarily convenient, but do not let that deter you from such a lovely experience and supporting wonderful people who seized the opportunity to provide our community with coffee beans that are roasted in-house!

This cozy spot is such a gem! Being new to Covington, I've learned "close" is a relative term out here. So, this place being a mere 15 minutes from my driveway is a total win. The baristas are mostly nice and always helpful. Ambiance is truly 10/10. It isn't a huge place but the vibe is chill and relaxing. Stop by for a game of checkers on their cool wooden table. I like the coffee myself but coffee snob husband doesn't absolutely love (nor hate it). Take his opinion with a grain of salt because he's a regular 1-2 quad-shot-lattes-a-day person (which is insane to mere mortals like myself). My vote is to try the coffee and decide for yourself. Some of the pastries I've had didn't taste extremely fresh, which I find to be the case at least half of the time with coffee shops. They have some ice cream options which is also a nice touch. Also, if you're wanting a straw be prepared to buy a $2 bamboo straw or possibly go without. I've requested straws before and sometimes were told they don't have any, then other times they did provid them. I've purchased probably 3 of their straws already but don't always have them on hand. I love the eco friendly aspect of moving away from straws. It just seems they might want to consider another option between no straws and having to purchase one. Love this place all the same.

Beautiful location with a unique and inviting atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and my cortadowas delicious! There were 8 people ordering in my party and all of our food and drinks were ready in a timely manner. We will be back!

Cute spot and good coffee.Just disappointed they charged me an whole extra dollar because they were out of Oatmilk. The drink I ordered is made with oatmilk but since they were out I just “substituted” for whole milk. They charged me to “substitute”, aka down grade, to a standard milk…didn’t make sense at all. That should have made me drink cheaper if anything.

If you love coffee like me, then you won’t be disappointed.The moment you walk in, you're greeted by one of the well-trained staff members who make you feel like your at home. The ambiance here is invitingwith charming artisan market items, freshly roasted coffee beans, a variety of charcuterie board items, and local pastries.Truly, it's the coffee that steals the show. The fact that they roast their own beans is evident in every sip. Each cup is a work of art, showing the rich flavors and unique profiles of their carefully sourced coffee beans. They roast in small batches to ensure a consistent roast every time.Oh, and don't even get me started on their pastries and artisanal market . They are fresh, delicious, and the perfect complement to your coffee.In short, Lily & Sparrow coffee house and mercantile is a place to be discovered. It's a place where coffee becomes an art form, and every visit is a chance to see something new.
