Stopped in to check out the atmosphere & fell in love with the place. Very cool coffee house/library. Don’t have quaint places like this in our hometown (big city) A must when visiting Covington GA ❤️

Came here on Christmas Eve and the male employee looked very annoyed at any customer walking in. Ordered a coffee and he made it wrong and was irritated whenever I asked for a remake. The coffee was not good at all and didn’t even have any sweet taste. He was also more focused on the scary TV show than the customers. Overall not a pleasant experience and definitely will not be coming back. Although the atmosphere was beautiful the loud and scary TV show took away from it. Female worker was nice

I was very excited to try this place--I had homework to do and wanted to try some place new.

Well, it was awful.

1. The coffee--while yummy--was overpriced. This was the least of the issues.
2. The barista who helped me with my order did not acknowledge me and looked at me like I was stupid for asking where the straws were.
3. There was no room in the study lounge for me so I sat elsewhere. A movie was playing on max volume--fine, I thought, it's because of where I'm sitting.
4. I move to the study lounge. I have headphones on. There are two other people with headphones on in the lounge as well. All three of us, through our headphones, could hear the lyrics to "Last Christmas" perfectly clear. I asked the people singing to be quieter. They stopped singing. INSTEAD, THE BARISTAS PLAYED CHRISTMAS MUSIC ON AN EVEN LOUDER VOLUME.
5. Upon calling to complain to the manger, I was essentially blamed for having a negative experience. The manager told me they could not control how loud patrons were during events. Firstly, there was no event advertised. Secondly, the manager failed to address, apologize, or acknowledge the rude employees.

I didn't want to write this review, but felt like I had no choice.

TL;DR: LOUD atmosphere with passive-aggressive, rude, unprofessional baristas and manager.

I came in to the Covington location with my two daughters on Monday 10/14 and had such an amazing experience. Not only was the coffee and environment superb, but the barista (sorry I don’t remember his name) was sooo friendly! He made every customer feel welcome and at home. My oldest said he’s a real life Luke Danes (Gilmore girls reference if you didn’t know). I can’t wait to return to Covington just to spend more time in this little slice of paradise 🖤

Came in from Augusta GA to escape the aftermath of the hurricane and we come across Local for coffee — Their coffee is ok, nothing special but what got us is the staff is not the most energetic or friendly (The guy there was super nice) … especially towards someone who voiced that we never been there (you’d think they would be happy we chose them?) anyways, not the best experience unfortunately… Hope the staff starts to smile more when their guests come and chose them for their coffee because there are other options, it helps a ton especially with times like these.

I really enjoy this coffee shop for its cozy atmosphere, great drinks, and pastries. I came here to study because they have a designated study area, which I appreciate. However, on a Monday morning, the heavy metal rock music was blasting through the speakers, making it nearly impossible to focus. I get that the music aligns with the shop's theme, but it seems counterproductive to advertise the space as a study-friendly environment while playing such loud music. I ended up having to pack up and head to the library instead. I still recommend this spot for a visit, but not if you're planning to study.
