Stopped in and ate with Aneissia (maybe a manager) and she was wonderful... The food was wonderful, the staff... My whole experience was - WONDERFUL. Cannot recommend this place enough. Chips almost killed me, they were so delicious. 10/10

Atmosphere was perfect but the food was cold and had no flavor. This is not your true "mexican restaurant", so I would recommend the bar only and enjoy your drink on the patio. If you have to eat, get the queso chorizo.

This was our second visit to Lucky Day. My wife and I enjoyed the food. I must say she's a picky eater, so when I suggested we return she was delighted.This will not be our last visit. We understand with any new business there's always some hiccups. There was a little confusion on seating and where the eating utensils were kept. However, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Great job chef! ?

The atmosphere and deco looks amazing and the establishment is clean. However this was my 2nd trip here with the 1st being the grand opening week and our 1st experience wasn't great but given it was a new establishment we tried it again 7 months later (1/24/2024) & still was disappointed ?. The food is subpar for the price & portions.. and the attitude of some of the staff is not approachable and or unfriendly. We paid for our food and left to go to another Mexican restaurant near by. I love Covington square but I doubt if we will patronize this establishment in the future.?
My husband and I had a spur of the moment lunch and I chose Lucky Day. The food and staff were amazing ❤️ from the drinks to the food, everything was FRESH !! Russell and Angelica were the best! Can’t wait to come back and bring our son next time .

We visited for the first time the other day, and we will definitely be back! The food was delicious, I had a burrito, and my husband had the quesa birria fries, and we shared an order of chips and salsa. One thing I did notice - the menu online listed a tequila flight, but we didn't see it when we got to the restaurant.

So good!!! I love how you can refill your drinks at any time!!! The service was amazing. Got it out to us so quickly I 100% recommend Lucky Day taco shop.
