Seems to be closed. Hours on door indicate it should be open at 6:00 pm on a Saturday, but it isn't. Listed phone number is disconnected.

RL's is the best place to eat on the square in Covington! The food is very tasty and the quality is consistently superior. I would highly recommend it especially if you want something a little bit different.

The food here is exceptional! My husband is from Louisiana and we continually look for good Cajun cuisine! Go to RL’s off the Square! So delicious! And our waitress, Jazzmin was superb! We drove an hour to try out this cajun food and were not disappointed!

This was our First time dining experience celebrating 31 years Wedding Anniversary. We are hooked our food was absolutely delicious. Seasoned to perfection. Nice size portions. Servers were on point and courteous. I’ll definitely try your desserts during our next visit.

Great little Cajun bistro, classy decor, traditional Cajun food, service was quick and pleasant, food quality was great, priced fairly.

Well alright then. I was pleasantly impressed by this hideaway off the square. When you live ITP . . . Venturing OTP can be tricky when it comes to dining. The menu at RL's is full of flavor for the adults with lots of friendly kid choices. I did not get to taste the chicken fingers but the kids loved them. The appetizers for the table did not disappoint. Fried green tomatoes and crab cakes. The cup of gumbo was delicious. I should of ordered the bowl. My entree pick: shrimp Alfredo. I forgot to take a picture. You will want to dine in for the service. The staff is friendly and detail oriented. The portion sizes are generous. Oh and there is a full bar. The chef will keep you coming back. Flavorful. Freshly made. Well plated. I feel like I have to ding the place for cafeteria like dishes and silverware? They may have even been plastic? You won't notice. I promise you. But it keeps it from being a five star. Go! Enjoy!

Absolute perfection. Abita Purple Haze, fried catfish, jalapeño cheese grit cakes. Very attentive staff. *During this time people need to have a bit more patience. Small businesses are doing what they can!

R L's formerly had great Red River Soup, but either they had a change in chef (doubt it) or the chef has altered the ingredients in the soup - it is not a good as it had been a year ago. The steak is good, as is all of the other items on the menu. I believe with all the times we have eaten there, we have probably eaten each item they offer.

Food was yummy but service felt rushed.

OMG! I ordered a cup of spicy gumbo and the Wednesday special - blackened grouper with veggies and risotto. The food was great. Very flavorful! Will definitely return to taste more of their entrees.
