Walking into The Wing Cafe off Salem Rd and Brown Bridge in Covington, I was greeted by an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that instantly stood out. The owner himself welcomed me, a man whose culinary journey includes serving as a personal chef for the legendary Sugar Ray Leonard. This rich history was proudly displayed on the walls, featuring photographs with other notable figures like Chef Emeril Lagasse. Such a personal touch set a promising tone for what was to come.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was immediately noticeable, a refreshing attribute that complements the owner’s engaging presence. Throughout my visit, he took the time to share fascinating insights about the culinary history of the Atlanta metro area, enriching the dining experience with local flavor beyond the menu.
For my meal, I chose their signature wings, specifically the honey hot variety. At first glance, the wings were medium-sized, a cut above what many local establishments offer. The quality was evident, suggesting a commitment to using superior ingredients.

I had a craving for wings and a Philly wanted to try somewhere I hadn't got that before . They didn't disappoint I got the steak Philly with six piece wing and my daughter got the wing with shrimp fried rice they do their rice hibachi style. Also an order of fried mushrooms. The portions ,price and flavors were all good . The sweetest older woman at the front was very personalable and got us taken care of quickly. Overall a good meal

Don't waste your time at this joint. The food is HORRIBLE & the owner and workers don't care if you complain about the food, they will stare at you like you're the problem. The Philly Sandwhich is DRY to the Bone, the rice & wings is DRY too. I won't be wasting my Money there anymore, I definitely didn't waste my calories neither, because I trashed the food ???
Came to get a wing plate and my wings were soggy. When i came back inside to have it remade I was rudely greeted by a cockroach and when the cashier came from the back and i told her she said they coming from the store next door and when she tried to kill it, it fell and ran into the kitchen ? she tried to explain that they spray regularly but I asked for my refund and will not be returning they probably be dead in the grease lawd!
I would highly advise the Philly Cheese Steak. The fries could usually be cooked a little longer as they are the real deal, crinkle fries. Ask for seasoning salt. ? onion rings are good, fried rice good. They've changed owners since we first discovered them but they are still top notch. They have some sorta hot dip that is the bomb I don't know the name but if you ask I imagine they will know. We order all the time from them. Once the order was wrong and so we called them instead of door dash to complain. The manager remade our meal, refunded us and redelivered personally. It's a diamond in the rough!

I don't know if they're under new management, have new employees, or just changed the way they do things.... But I went last night and was HIGHLY satisfied!!! From the service, to the food, to the price.... Everything was a great!! Wish I took a pic of my honey hot wings and onion rings to show y'all. How has this not been my go to spot!!?? Will be back!!!

Not very happy with young girl at register taking orde.. Although she was very nice she took my order at 7:37pm at a 12min wait. 5 people came in after me including a doordash driver and all got their orders ahead of me!!! And older lady came out to assist her but damage was done. The older lady did apologize and was kind, but technically I should have left the order there and gotten my refund. I didn't leave store till around 8pm.
