We ordered takeout from here and it was a complete disaster. They gave our food to someone else accidentally which can happen. It took them 40 minutes to remake the food, never offered a drink or anything to make us whole, and then screwed up the order on top of it. And then food was very mediocre at best. Super disappointing experience and would not go back.

Use to be the best steakhouse. Then, a few years ago, the quality dropped, so I had no choice but to stop going because the food was so bad.
I waited about 2 years and tried it again recently. Food was better and so was service. I returned the following week, ordered their Porterhouse steak the way I had the week before. This time, they added some sort of sauce on top, which I did not ask for or want.
The server sent it back and retuned to me with a “new steak” which was obviously the same steak, but it was apparent that it had been WASHED And dried with maybe dried with a paper towel!??!! I asked the server and she couldn’t deny it and just apologized and asked me if I wanted a new steak.
Holy hell. I just got my bill and left. Cocktail was good though

Excellent seating in a side booth in the bar area. The server provided the best service ever at Branchwater. She was also assisting behind the bar.

2 options, Brunch special or Full menu. I signed up for full menu. Drove an hour to get there on Mother’s Day since it’s her favorite restaurant. Get there and the they say no full menu available. No flexibility even though it was there mess up for allowing to sign up for full menu, wouldn’t have come if it was brunch only.

The starter (Trio dip) was very good, the scallops were so-so, my wife had the hanger steak which came out under done but they fixed it for her. Ava our server was very pleasant and attentive, we will be back in the future.

For a group outing, forget about it. Takes them hours and then they overcharge for basic kids meals without bothering to inform anyone beforehand.

We went for the Easter buffet and were not disappointed! Often times buffets are semi yummy cheap food sitting forever in overheated buffet chafing dishes.....not so at Branchwater. Everything was a good temp, and the same quality and taste I have come to know and love at Branchwater. The carving station was the yummiest! The Mac and cheese? Best I ever had. I literally had to restrain myself from running up there and getting a whole new plate of it! 🤣. Mothers Day is coming up Branchwater and I will be waiting!!!
Really good food but the service was outstanding! Abdul was such a personable, attentive, and engaging waiter. He definitely made the evening feel first class for all he served !

Our waiter was great. The cocktails are creative and tasty. My husband had the ahi tuna and loved it. I had the short rib. The macaroni was perfectly cooked but I didn't taste any cheese. The short rib was very fatty but tender and tasted good. Overall, I felt my meal was way overpriced for what it was. We have been here before and I'm sure we will go back but I was a little disappointed.

Too many screaming kids. Next time, I'll sit in bar. Branchwater could have guided me to adult area and kept kids in another place. Spent>$100 and was looking for quieter time.

The hostess moved us to a small booth for 3 of us so we asked to be moved to a table. The restaurant wasn't crowded and there were tables right near our booth but we were moved to a table next to 2 parties of 8 people. The noise of the conversations around us made it very difficult to hear. NY Strip Coffee encrusted was not and didn't have any coffee flavor. Fries were not good.

Waiter was great- service was slow, food was fair (2) scallop meals all good by the scallops, they were very small dry and over cooked. Other 2 meals Pork chop was very good. Buffalo chicken sandwich was good. Refill of one drink was served in styrofoam cup! Overall been to Canton location twice and both excellent. Will not go back to Cumming and probably not to canton as well very disappointed as we met friends that have never been there.
