Visited Castleberry Ale House last night with a couple of friends. The bartended greeted me and was friendly. Once I was seated, I asked if they could turn down the fans which were all around the room and on as high speed as they could be. The bartender mumbled I'll see what I can do. When the waitress came over I asked tour if there was something they could do about the fans. She said unfortunately, no. The fans are on one circuit and if we turn off the fans then the kitchen has no ventilation or air circulation. Every table that walked by our table as they were leaving commented on how cold it was. What irritated me most is that the bartender point blank lied to me and dismissed me as if the issue was not of any importance. The service was great. The food was mediocre. My friends both had fish and both of them were way too dry - one of them couldn't even eat it. They did say the mashed potatoes were the best they ever had in their life, though. My friends really liked the wings. The salad is simply chopped up iceberg lettuce and chopped up in such small pieces you can't get them on your fork. Large menu and decent pricing. None of us will be going back because it was such an unpleasant experience to be unable to get away from the constant wind in our faces. All they need to do is hire an electrician to put the front room fans on a different circuit than the kitchen fans.

This place used to serve really great food. However, I ordered dry rub lemon pepper chicken wings yesterday and a bowl of chili to go, but the wings were slimy and wet instead of dry rub, and the chili portion was very small and WAY BELOW the quality it was when my family last ate there. Honestly, I've had better chili from a can and microwave than what I got yesterday. Very disappointing experience. I don't know what happened since we last ate here, but the food quality has gone down considerably in regards to the wings and chili. The wings mostly remain in the fridge uneaten and will probably be thrown away. I miss the crispy wings!

Had lunch on a Tuesday and JJ was the bartender / waitress. We sat outside and she took great care of us. Food was delicious and drinks well priced. Definitely a good local spot to hang out and watch a game, chill with friends, and not pay an arm and a leg.

We enjoy visiting Castleberry Ale House. Food is good, lots of tv’s and a really nice patio for outdoor seating. We will be back!

The food is ok, a great option if your looking for something late. The jalapeño mozzarella sticks are excellent. Wings were dry and too salty. The club sandwich is good, if a bit overpriced. Service is ok.

New to the area and decided to give it a try and it didn’t disappoint. Good local eatery with a wide variety of beers on tap. The wings were very good and we also had the bbq tater skins and they were good too. Our server Layla was the best, very friendly and attentive!
