Fun times. WARHAMMER, d&d, AIME, if you like tabletop games this is your venue.
Couldn't even play our Gane due to a bratty kid running around and stealing our game pieces. The mom was too busy into her game to even tend to her wild child!
We won't be back
About a year ago, I decided to come check this place out as someone who wanted to try Dungeons & Dragons in person but never really had a chance to. I was hoping this would be it and I could make some new friends and play apart of the story. I was wrong. They had two ongoing games going and I was just placed in one of them after figuring out if they even HAD a table willing to have more players. No problems there. The DM however was terrible. I was given no introduction to the group, no idea of what was going on in this story, and basically was treated like a spectator. When I asked if we were doing introductions, they said no and that I was just there. At some point, I couldn't hear what the DM said and I was trying to be involved in the conversation so I had to get on my knees on these short chairs they had to hear and talk. Just as I did, one of the employees came by and told me to "Sit down properly." I would have if the chairs you provided were actually chairs that were high enough to reach the table. Ever since then, I haven't been back. I was disappointed with this experience and hopefully they've improved since then but just judging from previous reviews, I highly doubt it. Only good thing I can say is that the food was pretty good and the selection of stuff you can buy is nice too. Unfortunately, I wasn't looking for food or a place to shop, I was looking to play Dungeons & Dragons, and I did not get that experience.
I enjoy playing here. I play Magic the Gathering here on occasions when I can get down due to my schedule.
The owner and staff are lovely people who seem to really care about the store and customers.
The fact that they have food really is a plus. I’ve never thought of how convenient it is to be able to order some food at a game store rather than having to run quickly before to get something or l having to leave early due to starvation.
They do carry singles of cards which is always a plus to me.
A great place to buy and play war hammer Minifigure games. stop by just to escape being inside all day, fun atmosphere.
Fantastic and caring ownership. Great game and lunch spot. They have a full drink menu and lots of snack options when playing those epic matches. Games are everywhere, and the decor is fantastic. They will also do special events and when out of the way, to help my family host a great gathering to honor a friend. Thanks so much!!
Friendly people, good food, fun and games! Awesome place!
Goated???
TL;DRShop is in decline. 1/3 of shop footprint is unusable. Food is "OK". If you are not playing Magic or D&D, just avoid the place.Longer Review:I should not walk in, stop, sigh, and say "I really need to find another place to play" for the third or fourth time. That just means I am an idiot.I've been wargaming here at least 1-2x a month for the past two years. It used to be a boardgame, wargame, Magic, and D&D store. It was starting to decline some just before new ownership. New ownership showed initial promise and then it declined very rapidly.Went in last night and realized roughly 1/3 of the shop is no longer useable due to storage of random crap, random 1/2 built projects, and a new lounge area which took over what dwindling wargaming tables they have. (Seriously, it looks like my 11yr olds room when it pukes clothes and toys on the floor). Two months ago there were at least 3 decent wargame tables (down from like 6-8 at it's peak). When I walked in last night there was a single wargame table that was camped on by D&D players. I managed to pull a wargaming table that was stuck and covered in the corner, scrounge terrain from various places, and play on a table that was barely large enough to work for the game.Food had improved with new ownership but has fallen off the past 2-3 visits. This last time they ran out of ingredients for one thing and I tossed the food I settled on 1/2 way through because it didn't taste that great. Clientele is mostly OK, but there are 1-2 obnoxious visitors that are loud and distracting or just camping on a table almost every time I visit. The friendliness of the clientele is gone and it seems very cliquish. The stares I got from D&D while setting up for my game was just weird. Made me feel out of place.I have talked to the owner more than once in the past and she was very nice. I see a lot of passion here. But the more I play and observe the more I think she is there to hang with friends than improve the shop or work on tasks. Executing whatever plans she has to improve things seems stalled at best.I recommend Meeple Madness of Level Up as an alternative if location makes sense.
Always have a friendly face and good games!!

Took my 13 year old boys to Dice Goblin this evening to check it out. Both are interested in Magic the Gathering. Was greeted by Josh and Jacob. Both couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They explained how the place works, what people were playing, and suggested my boys join a game in progress. We had dinner there as well. The menu is bar food. We had burgers and chicken tenders. They were quite good and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go back. Would have stayed longer but my boys didn’t want to ask the experienced gamers if they could join them. If you’re into gaming, Dice Goblin is a nice place.
I just went to visit to try and kill some time and the owner was friendly and nice. It was a good environment.
Went to Dice Goblin for the first time 3/3/24.
Was warmly greeted by Lisa, who talked to me as if I was an old friend. It was definitely a friendly atmosphere.
Unfortunately I had to leave early due to an emergency with a friend. Excited to return soon to immerse myself fully in DGG, as well as finish my conversation with Lisa. 😂
