My go to mexican restaurant. The food has always been amazing. Its a fun environment, friendly people. I’ve spent my past two birthdays here, I have spent countless hours here just eating and talking to friends making memories with them. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

I love this restaurant, the preparation of attention, everything is spectacular. This Sunday when I went to have lunch with my son I really enjoyed itKid-friendliness: My child is lazy to eat outside the home and he loved the meat cooked medium term

Well after waiting forever for our food. They still forgot a lot of stuff for my order. They need more help and it needs to be cleaner in that place. The liquor is old and over priced. Please consider this review. I was visiting a friend from out of town and we decided to go there.

We came here because Los Rios was too busy... I wish we went home instead. Our server was very friendly but then he forgot about us for about 30-35 minutes after getting our food (I got a soup and my boyfriend got some taco combo). We started off our meal with their loaded queso and it was okay, very oily. I threw up on our 10 min drive home and am actively trying to keep more vomit down while writing this. My boyfriend is also in bad shape after this meal. Should've known, we were the only table in the entire restaurant

I guess with 5 tables full in a res that has 30 it is understandable that 55 minutes for a cheese Qusadilla to come out you really should have planned to bring a movie to watch. Ceviche that is chopped up so fine it could be rattle snake. The server didn't check on us until we got the bus boy to ask where our food was. The quisidllla was cold. The sauce on the table was water and had no seasoning. additionally they put the salsa for the table in a picture like you would find maple syrup in and it goes from one table to another which with Covid and sanitation makes me rather nervous. The entire experience was one that made me think I was at a low end Taco Bell however Taco Bell has much better flavors and service than we experienced here. The dessert choice is ice cream or ice cream and they never refill your chips on the table I will have to admit there was no redeeming quality to the evenings meal

Terrible, grease is old needs to be changed server said we have no more oh well. Chimichanga, hardly any meat. Supposed to come with guacamole and I had to ask for it the. It was nasty! Very disgusting

I have passed this restaurant at least a dozen times and never thought to stop in. I received an email about the best restaurants in the area and this was one. I read the glowing reviews and as chance would have it, the wife suggested Mexican food two days later. We arrived to a mostly empty parking lot and mostly empty restaurant. Our server Zeke ( I hope I got his name right) promptly greeted us and told us to sit where we pleased. We started with the cheese dip and guacamole. The cheese dip was good but the guacamole was made to order by some angels in the kitchen who prayed over it and blessed it before it hit our table. DELICIOUS! My son and I ordered the chicken fajita burrito and the wife ordered the taco trio. Before I get the food, let's get to the "adult friendly " beverages. Zeke recommended the watermelon-pineapple margarita. I have no idea who decided to put this combination together but it was INSPIRED. The wife took a sip of mine and her question to was " so, what are you going to drink? This is mine." We ordered another... Back to the food- everything in that burrito was delicious and when it came together- WOW The wife's taco trio was as authentic as it gets. The steak was well seasoned and tender. The tender chicken taste like it was raised in a loving coop with chicken parents who prayed daily. We ate so much that I had a hard time getting to sleep ...I regret nothing! This spot is definitely on our short list of favorites.

The staff was nice ..the food looked good But I'll be honest for the price ..the food to me the taco meat was runny and watered down not much flavor and the salsa had no taste it seemed to be watered down .So it seemed cleaned and nice atmosphere but for me to much money for food that was tasteless..the rice was ves very good.

This is literally the first review I have ever given, but wow this place is terrible. Water down the queso until it's mostly water.. Literally everything you get you can tell the owner is the cheapest person in the world. I doubt the chicken is even real.. cheap cheap cheap cheap.. cut corners x 100

We had Dinner today it was excellent, since the new owner who used to work there is back, we’ve tried several different meals and we haven’t found one we didn’t like. On Sunday’s they have chili verde. So we will be back Sunday to try it. We’re from California and we love Mexican food and have tried several Mexican restaurants, but none compare to El Rio…We haven’t been disappointed at all since coming back to eat at El Rio. The owner is very nice and personable… come by and try it.
