I generally love this restaurant but something has changed. I believe they are short staffed and it just makes the dining experience take way too long. The server apologized for delays but it was rough. It took nearly 30 minutes for our drinks to be served. My beer was served in a hot stein. The sides on my meal were room temp and unseasoned. The schnitzel was great though.

Such good, authentic German food. I especially love the potato pancakes, pretzels, and gluhwein.

Food is good, thankfully it wasn't overly hot as we had to sit in the Beirgarten, and a good time was had by all!

Chicken Schnitzel was good, the Butchers Plate was great... the German Potato Salad is the cold variety, red cabbage was great, spatzel was good...

Apple strudel was very good and the ice cream accompanying also good. Fresh whipped cream was done well also.

Beer is ½ liter, full liter, Boot, or Pitcher...

Thank you for having us! Sorry it was 16 instead of the 20 we had planned. We will be back to see you!

Love it here. Food is very good. It is authentic based on our 3 or 4 trips to German. We have taken friends that grew up in Germany and they loved the food.

Excellent German beer selection. Sit outside. It is covered. We have been in the heat of summer and in winter. Nice either way.

We visited this restaurant yesterday and had a wonderful experience. While the exterior may appear modest, resembling a small house, the moment we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy some truly delicious food. We were there as a family with two kids, and everyone absolutely loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped in as it appeared Quaint and the home nature of the place felt authentic German. Quickly seated and the servers were perfect for me. . Attentive yet not hovering.

However ordering the Rouladen with red cabbage and fried potatoes. . . I was sorely disappointed in the dish.

The rouladen and sauce was underseasoned, with no hint of the pickle or onions flavors expected in rouladen. Was a bland potatoe in the center. A good sauce could have saved it. . . But alas - no season there either.

Now the fried potatoes appeard to be direct from a bag of Kroger home fries without a hint of seasoning as well. All in all. . . A miss.

Now the red cabbage was good. . Just not good enough to save the dish or warrant a return.

Yet the people and place were pleasant . . T
So life is still good. . . As I had a meal. . More than many can say

My wife and I drove up from Gwinnett county just to try this place; it's great! We'll be making the trip again for sure.

The food is great and the atmosphere is fun. It was too hot to sit outside, but we look forward to that too.

My wife and I decided to go here for the first time for a date night. Even though it wasn't extremely busy, our appetizer took a long time to arrive. The server told us that it was accidentally taken to another table. Then, our entrees and beers took longer to arrive than the tables who were seated after us and who had larger parties. The server apologized again for the delay in beer arrival, telling us that our beers got delivered to the wrong table again. To top it all off, the restaurant advertised a free strudel with purchase of an entree. When it came time for that, our server said the strudel was burnt (even though we asked about the special before even ordering our meals) and yet they won't substitute it for any other dessert. Imho, they should've substituted for a dessert of equal or lesser value. We ordered quite a bit for just two people and still tipped the proper amount but think management might need to step in with better training and practices. On a positive note, the atmosphere is cool and the prices are reasonable. We were really excited to try this place because we heard good things about it; however, after this experience it is very doubtful we will be back :( It's just poor taste to Not honor what you advertise.
