Great American Cookies

Cake was supposed to be done at 3 pm today, they hadn’t stated it when I got there at 3:20, took them until 3:45 to get it done. It doesn’t look like a professional did it. And they forgot the white thing that goes in the box so it doesn’t smoosh so it was smudged before I even left the parking lot. I’m so disappointed. I’m sure they don’t get payed enough to care, but these cakes are expensive.

Great American Cookies at Collections is an amazing place to dine in. The staff is very nice and has a great atmosphere. Very great over all.

Melissa made the most beautiful flamingo cake for me today from there! Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious!!!

Both Melissa and the other woman, who i wished i had gotten her name, were AMAZING and so helpful!

i have never left a review in my life but this cake is so beautiful i’m near tears. i need to find out which employee frosted this IMMEDIATELY so i can tip them another $20. I CANT STOP SMILING!!!!!

I came in today to see if they can do custom cake for my daughter. They said I had to come later on the day. So I did... upon receiving my cookie.. the box said custom cake ready in 15 minutes. Why? I could have gotten our cake in 15 minutes.....

I made an online order of a cookie cake for my daughter’s birthday. I showed up and they didn’t have my order and couldn’t find it. Christy grabbed the details from my email and had my daughters cake ready in 15 minutes. I couldn’t have asked for a better response and I really appreciated their willingness and ability to make this happen for us. Great service!

So, i’ve come in here a couple times because I can always go for a brownie, but both times the staff was super awkward and did not engage with the customers. It honestly felt like i was talking to robots, and I work with food too so I get being tired or having a bad day but… the staff is very… unwelcoming to the point where I feel bad, like an inconvenience for even being there. I will definitely not be going back especially after this experience. I do not know his name but the tall guy with curly hair and glasses, I don’t know why he would choose a cookie shop to work at if he’s going to act miserable after I say “hi how are you?”

Dropped in at 2:15 to pick up a 3:00 order. I had to come back it wasn't ready but the cookie cake looked great and it was delicious!

I was hoping to have a great cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday but it was messed up. Lydia was the cake decorator who did not write Happy Birthday correctly. She did not cross the middle line in H, she misspelled my daughters, and she did the wrong colors. I am very disappointed in her work.

The baking soda is not evenly blended in the dough. The first bite taste like radioactive sewage. This is the 3rd time I've experienced this in GA. Twice in Alpharetta the other in Cummings. These American cookies used to be so good but the quality has diminished over time. So sad.

I called to place an order and Lauren was so uplifting, kind, and incredibly helpful! She made placing an order SO easy and made sure of the batter type too which I’ve never had done before!
