Great chicken, great, friendly service, but where's the chicken? I've eaten here many times and loved it. The chicken tenders were always on the smaller size, but this last visit, they barely were enough to call them nuggets. What happened?
I ordered a snack box and 3 additional tenders for my wife and me to share. We were so disappointed. Tiny tenders. Definitely not worth the money. The taste was great, as usual; however, the serving size of the 6 tenders wasn’t enough for a child, let alone 2 adults. Huge disappointment and, unfortunately, my last visit. Significantly too expensive for tiny tenders.
Gutherie's, let me know when you start to service tenders vs. small nuggets.

So glad we found an alternate chicken tender spot. Food always good and hot. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Only thing I wished they had was a kids meal. Also more drink options like the 100 styles coke machine.

*Follow-up: Upon leaving my review, you can see that Guthrie’s responded below, instructing me to email them, and that they would resolve the issue. Despite my emailing them on 7/3, 7/9, and 7/11, they have never replied back, so the reply they posted below, is just for show…to appear like they are taking action in regard to complaints, when in fact they are not. Now, in addition to the terribly sized food portion, they also have bad customer service. In fact, some would call that unethical.

Very nice food, kind young lady named Lexi in the drive through and staff inside are very kind as-well. Never had any issues eating here every time I come.

It was good but I don't see them staying open for very long. They don't have much to offer on the menu for my liking. I was so happy to run into a guthries because this was part of my childhood growing up in Athens. All in all it was good though.

This is the third time in a row that I have ordered a box,and end up with the 3oz chicken fingers instead of the 5oz fingers.I don’t know whether this is complete incompetence or just ignorance.

They say 3rd time is the charm, went in with my family, ordered the bucket meal, (tailgate special that came with a bucket, fries, 6 sauces, and a gallon of sweat tea), note I ordered inside.. he calls my name, I got the bucket and he said I only ordered the bucket, after being charged for a meal and 5 cups of ice, so I ask for the other food when he hands me the bucket of chicken. He stated I only ordered the bucket, and 5 cups of ice, I then had to pay for my gallon separate, still never got the fries, as he was being confrontational. My kids where there and instead of making a scene we will no longer be eating here! When you look me in the face and say I wondered why you wanted 5 cups of ice and where pointing at the bucket meal.. he never tried to correct the issue, just blamed me.

First time, ordered 2 boxes at drive thru, then. waited at the window for 3 minutes to pay, I have the credit card out in my hand and I got," have you already paid"? from the drive-thru attendant. No request of," do I want to receipt"? just handed the credit card back 2 minutes later and, yes, it's my dinner time,I'm hungry, I've driven to try this place for the first time and I've aware of the time and day. It's Friday night at 7:00 p.m., and people are looking for dinner. Then I wait eight more minutes, at the window, without a word from anybody, then I'm handed my food. I went to look in the box and decided not to because there were many cars behind me and I live less than 7 minutes away, it was a simple order, how badly could it go?
Answer? Pretty badly. I got home took the two boxes out One was full of french fries the other was full of chicken. Not two boxes with Texas toast french fries chicken special sauce and coleslaw. And there was no receipt either. I tried to call,nobody answered, I actually got an answering machine. So I drove back I waited in line I got to the drive-through speaker told them what had happened and I got," well the order was wrong we're going to Cook something." I said, " I want two boxes please" the next thing I heard was" so you don't want the coleslaw?" At this point I was livid and I said" I am going to come to the window". One car in front of me at the window and within a minute I'm at the window with the same drive-thru person, did he/ she open the window No, he /she was talking to the next person in the drive-thru line. I had my credit card in my hand and when a young lady came over and opened the window I handed her the the order that was wrong and my credit card and said simply "I just want my money back." The door closes I heard her ask for a person by name who came around the corner and it was obviously a management individual, he's dressed differently than the crew. Now there's a conversation between the young lady the management person and the person who was initially at the drive-thru window when this all happened. When the window finally opens it's the manager. I say" is anybody going to talk to me, the customer "he lets me know He's got a lot of new people and yes there's a mistake but he's going to fix it I said that's fine fix it get me my correct order and please don't make me wait here for another eight minutes. I waited only 2 minutes The manager open the window gave me the correct order, as he assured me it was fresh out of the fryer and hot for me and attempted to give me two cards for two free meals. I said I am trying to find an apology within me as once upon a time I was a general manager for McDonald's and oh boy howdy ,some things do happen. I did not take the two gift cards, the food is enjoyable fresh, appealing, hot, what I ordered and in appropriate amounts for what I paid. Absent all the difficulties, I could see myself going again or recommending them. The biggest competitor here is Zaxby's, and this food pricing and setup is quite similar. My biggest complaint here besides the time beside The incorrect order, I don't need to know that you have a lot of new people, if they are new I'm not the first one to have a problem, it's busy it's Friday night It's 7:00, and I'm willing to bet there were a lot of orders that were problematic. Drive-thru is not where you put your least experienced person and whatever happened to training? In the long run don't make excuses for your personnel , train them and put them out on the floor when they are capable of handling the shift; such as Friday night at 7:00p.m.

I always go here and I order the snack. Today I was rather disappointed. 10 dollars and I'm thinking my normal I get 3 normal sized tenders not more batter than chicken strips. I get you have to make money but if you are doing by the weight or whatever I'm not impressed.

The atmosphere was good forAn old couple like us.They play 60s 70 music and it's clean and bright.We went for lunch. The chicken fingers were way too salty and I normally like a lot of salt.
