As far as Japanese steak houses go this one has good food and Better service. I'm not the biggest fan of this type of food. However this food was good. If you are looking for a Japanese steakhouse in this area I would recommend this place. Great service and it was clean.

The reservation system for Christmas Eve needs a serious overhaul. People are waiting more than an hour after their reservation time and it is absolutely chaotic in here. Get it together! The Kani House in Johns Creek has never been so unorganized. Seems like a management/staffing issue.

Our server (I think his name was Justin) was really great. We’ve eaten here 100 times, but I recently found out I have Celiac’s disease, and he was so attentive and asked the kitchen to make sure my food was separate. Everything I asked to navigate my allergy he got an answer for, and I really appreciate his service.

Disappointed in the service..... we had a 5:30pm reservation on a Wednesday. Everyone in our party was there by 5:30 and we were seated right away. But then... it took 45 minutes to get our soup and salad and another 15 minutes before we had a chef. By the time our food was ready we had been there an hour and a half. The food was good. Maybe because we were starving. The restaurant was not crowded. There was only one other table seated

I had a wonderful time at Kani House. The chefs were lively and made the hibachi experience really fun. My kids loved it. The chicken, fish was fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. Love their Fried rice with egg. They gave Salad and soup in lunch with Entree. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a good spot for both dinner and celebrations.

Service was good and staff was nice, but lettuce in my salad was old and turning brown, the steak was awful, the whole place is nasty, there is a hole in the bathroom ceiling with paint hanging down, the grill chimneys look gross. They have decretive painting with food on them, I can’t imagine what the kitchen is like, health department needs to inspect this place soon.

The service was decent and the cook was funny. However, the rice was not cooked all the way as it was still hard and needed to be cooked longer in the cooker. Also the vegetables were not cooked long enough. They put the rice on the hibachi grill, then cooked the meat, and finally cooked the vegetables. Which means that the vegetables were still slightly undercooked. Overall, my experience wasn't bad, I just wished everything was cooked properly.
Anna wanted hibachi :) I said: I can’t without Ava , that’s our thing. We can go to gods tho as long as long as noone judges us for drinking Celsius cause I am driving to ATL for an artsy show from what I gather

Kani house is such a beautiful restaurant with not only an exquisite exterior but also interior. Me and my family were treated so well everytime we come in. Whether it’s dining in or hibachi, the food and service is amazing! I love and enjoy going here and is such a family friendly restaurant as well!!
