Today, I had the pleasure of eating at Kitani Sushi, located near Cumming, Georgia. The place is cozy and has a very traditional Japanese feel—it’s not very big, but that’s what makes it charming. The restaurant is run by an Asian family, and the service was excellent.
The food was very fresh and flavorful. I tried the Tuna Tower, a Shrimp Tempura Roll, and a Dragon Roll—all of them were delicious and prepared with great quality. The freshness really stood out, and the flavors were well-balanced.
It’s definitely a spot worth returning to, and I highly recommend it to everyone looking for an authentic Japanese experience in the area.

The atmosphere is perfect for a calm meal with family, friends, and even a romantic date night! This is me and my partners favorite sushi place, and has become a regular date night spot. Mrs. Lee and her family give the best service. It’s just her, her husband and her son, and the resturant is always full, so be prepared to spend some time there. It is SO worth it. The food is phenomenal and they treat you like family. We go once a week and won’t go to any other sushi place.
