Pies on Post

The gluten free crusts are standard, but there is no help for really avoiding cross contamination. I went with a Cobb Salad because the crusts have tapioca starch. The presentation was beautiful. Crumbled bacon, Gorgonzola, hard boiled eggs, two chicken breast on top of sliced steak. The top piece of grilled chicken was excellent. The steak was raw. (!) As in seared and raw and cold on the inside. Not warm pink, but cold, red, and gel like. It was as already sliced, meaning the person in the kitchen fully didn’t notice. I reported it and decide to work around it. I go the second piece of grilled chicken and cut it up, I questioned two cuts but figured it was because I was slicing it on salad greens. Nope, the chicken was pink, gooey, and uncooked. Again, pre-sliced in big portions. I sent it all back. I asked the young girl, blonde/brown with nose ring if she informed someone and she said the manager wasn’t working so she’d text him about it.

I live in VA. When I visit my mom in Cumming, GA, going to Pies on Post is always a part of my visit. I absolutely love Pies on Posts for the service and the high quality of food in a super chill place! I highly recommend Pies on Post!

We go to Pies on Post regularly. It has a very good pizza!! The apps are BOGO 1/2 off for happy hour on Fridays!! 1/2 price drafts and wine for happy hour Tues-Fri!!

Amazon food great people and some of the best pizza I've ever had. So fresh and light.

I never do reviews but I can’t help myself this time. I LOVED this place when it first opened. That said I will NEVER return. We got take out. Ordered the portobello sandwich without the bun, cant have gluten and the Mediterranean salad. I can’t eat the fries because my stomach can’t tolerate the oil they cook them in. The portobello was nonexistent I called them to ask them where it was. It wasn’t stuffed with anything! The Mediterranean salad was mixed green w a TON of olives and roasted red peppers as filler and I mean filler was just thrown on top of the portobello to I guess hide the fact it looks nothing like a stuffed portobello! The staff is nice. The location is decent. I’m completely disappointed with what Pies has become.

I have ordered From pies on post several times. Their food is Consistently really good. If you’ve never eaten there, I highly recommend you stopping in in heaven, a slice of pizza, their hamburgers are to die for and their POP shrimp is absolutely amazing. Their customer service is absolutely amazing. Pricing is very competitive. Love this place.

HORRIBLE MANAGER. Was trying to order online and the gf option wasn’t available, I called the restaurant and was informed by Patrick that even though it wasn’t showing up to give him the order name and what I was ordering and he would personally make sure that it was made GF because their online wasn’t working. My order shows up through door dash and it is NOT gf. I call back and his response was “sorry we got busy and I forgot” then hung up the phone. I had to call back and his next response was I’ll refund you when I have time. So not only do we not have dinner but it’s unlikely we will get our money back. Dude should be fired immediately because he clearly doesn’t have a clue how to be a manager. Will also be reporting to door dash.

It’s really hard to mess up pizza but the bottom of ours was extremely burnt and black. I couldn’t even force myself to eat it which was very disappointing to waste that money.

Great ambiance! Staff very attentive and friendly! The pizza was delish! My sis and I really enjoyed the crust and the taste was SUPERB! I highly recommend you give them a try!!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!

Excellent service, and exceptional pizza. If you are looking for a taste of Napoli in North Ga go no further. This spot has a high quality pizza on a traditional woodfired Italian pizza oven. Come on where you gonna find an Italian oven in a hole in the wall in Cumming ga? This is an upscale pizza spot not your usual chain pizza place!
And better yet great draft beer and great prices. Oh not to mention the appetizers, being a veteran fine dining chef I gotta say their Brussels sprouts are beyond great.
