Great food. I'd say one of the best, if not the best Mexican for food and variety in the area. Prices vary, but the premium dishes aren't cheap. That said I think it's value all around. Go for the food!Vegetarian options: One of the better vegetarian dishes out there. Can't remember the name, but it's under vegetarian options. I often get it as a sharable appetizer.

Too expensive I went alone to eat Pili a chicken broth and when I paid they charged me 33 and besides the food was not very good very expensive I have gone to other restaurants to eat like to a restaurant called Los Ríos in that restaurant I have gone to eat With three people and what I paid is $30 and we have ordered Texas fajitas and other foods and they were very delicious. This restaurant is very expensive. I do not recommend it. If you want a good restaurant, go to Los Ríos, it is very cheap.
Just happened to drive by Balsas before a hike so I decided to stop on my way back home. SO good. I mean SO GOOD! Everything is made in-house. Delicious salsa, freshly made quacamole, and Jalapas Mussels were ?!!! I brought the broth home with me, that’s how good it was. The staff were also super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I will make it a point to come back.

We are so happy to of picked this spot as you probably will be too! Food and drink were prefect Service was perfect as well! 2of us came in, was welcomed to sit anywhere, we picked a table near the door. We had 2more coming to meet us. It was a tiny table, the staff brought us chips & menus. Then recommended us to move to a bigger nicer table that was around the corner that we didn’t see. We were so happy she did, she had a good knowledge of the menu & drinks that we questioned. We stayed a while (slow Wednesday night) to visit w/our friends & she was attentive the whole time. No one minded us all being there a little extra time! I’d recommend them to everyone if I could & I can’t wait to return if I’m back in the area!
