The service was excellent!
Santa Maria has live entertainment on Saturdays, but make a reservation. They can be very busy!

The build out is very upscale. BUT, if you are a basic meat and potatoes or a Texmex guy like I am, you might want to steer clear. I'm probably not cultured enough to eppreciate a place like this. That's me, it might not be you. If you are into chefed up fru fru food, and you enjoy latin music noise so loud that it prevents enjoyable table conversation, this is likely going to become your fine dining home away from home. But, it wasn't for me. Service was good, and prices are up up and away. Enjoy.

If I’m spend $40 a plate I don’t want to listen to an awful so loud we couldn’t have a conversation mariachi band. Even asked them to turn it down and nothing. No food came out at one time and took forever to get entrees delivered to the table. Will definitely not be going back. Over priced, average food and terrible atmosphere, I don’t know where the positives are coming because this place sucks.

Alexandra was our waitress and she was amazing, but when the food came there were nats flying everywhere. I made a comment about the bugs and the waitress said there were no nats/bugs in the kitchen but I found that hard to believe. I did not eat my food as I picked up my shrimp and nats were underneath it. We had a horrible experience and will never be back.
Bacon wrapped shrimp is my favorite! Santa Maria carefully source their proteins. The chicken and beef were incredibly tender in their fajita meal - and was a huge portion. Their wait staff was very well informed.

The place felt overrated — we didn’t enjoy the dining experience. Our server, Tatiana, was not attentive, which made the visit less enjoyable. The manager did stop by to check in and was very welcoming, but overall, we don’t plan to return.
