Summits Wayside Tavern

Just had a bad experience, server did not know the menu or beers on tap. Order buffalo chicken tacos and they poured the whole bottle of blue cheese on the tacos. Ordered a burger and it was $22 and it was sadly nothing special. Asked the server about the price and she had no answer other than it’s the computer. The manger came over very hostile. Probably won’t be back for while.

Summit's is an excellent sports bar! It has a warm neighborhood tavern atmosphere with a full selection of beer and liquor. There are always plenty of Bulldog fans on fall Saturdays for the football game. We enjoy the food, especially the reubens and burgers. The service is friendly and attentive. An overall enjoyable place to watch the game with many tvs and a large screen for the main event.

This is one of our favorite restaurants/bars. When we lived in Cumming Summits was part of our weekly routine. Now, we stop in Cumming on the way to the beach to see friends and hang out at Summits.

There is something for everyone there. They have one of the largest craft beer selections anywhere. They have an extensive menu and somehow they manage to be good at all of it.

They have both a bar area as well as a sit-down dining area. Summits is great for hanging at the bar with friends or having dinner with the family.

Had one of the hamburgers upgraded the Patty to a better one on the menu it was excellent. Came with a very large portion of French fries. My wife had the veggie burger she enjoyed it also

First time I’ve never been here . I actually went there because they have gaming machines to play on ordered the Corona at the bar. I was shocked as the price is $7.75 I was charged for one beer. I pay 4.50 to 4.75 everywhere else me and my girlfriend ordered hot wings. Hers were terrible. They were dry non-flavored she wanted hot spicy chili. They did not have it. Mine were. I would just say OK I paid for six so overall it’s a big place. It has a nice set up. Lots of parking but food and prices work to me. Way too high I ordered one more beer and hot wings of six I paid $29 for that very pricey. maybe they would be more crowded and have more business if they read just pricing you know people wanna go out but if they got a great set up, but those are insane prices that’s like me buying two beers. I’d end up paying almost $16 that’s not including the tip two beers where I can go down the street and get four beers for the same price. Just need to think about management changing prices. You might feel like we’re gonna lose money. You never lose money because what are you gain more customers?

Fantastic selection of beer. And they offer flights which is unusual for a bar. Food was typical bar food, nothing exceptional..rating was for the beer. Atmosphere was pleasant bar type place. Service was good but not super fast.

The wings are decent but everything else is pretty poor. The chicken tenders taste and looked like frozen tenders from grocery store, salad lettuce was rotten, etc. Nice servers.
