This place has the best BBQ in Cumming, no question. The brisket sandwich is crazy good—super tender and full of flavor. I always get the fried okra and mac and cheese on the side, and both are so delicious.
It’s one of those spots where everything just hits right. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!

My favorite bbq around my area. The brisket is my first meat choice here, the perfect smoky, peppery flavor with melt in your mouth marbled fat. Pork is delicious as well. They have killer sides too. Can’t miss the mac and cheese, creamed corn and baked beans😍😍

My husband had tried this restaurant when it was catered to his work. We were excited to stop by for lunch. Wow was it disappointing! My husband's pork was mostly fat and my brisket sandwich also had 1/3 of the brisket was just fat. Okra and fries tasted of old grease. They were out of several sides. It was not busy when we went. I do not recommend trying this one.

We love Socks Love Barbecue and often choose it when we have guests coming over! When we eat at Socks, we often have a pulled pork sandwich with several sides. The fried okra and French fries are awesome! The pork is tender and lean. When we’re having guests come over, we will order couple of pounds of pulled pork…always popular!

Try the sides in my favorite order, Cowboy Beans, Mac and Cheese and Fried Okra but doubt you will be disappointed in anything Steven Hartsock creates. He occasionally makes a BBQ Birria Ramen that should win him a Michelin Star someday, yet he is the kindest and humble guy you will ever meet. Come see him early before they sell out!
