Food and atmosphere were great! Enjoyed my time there. We will be back again.
The best steak ever. Not only is the food amazing, the staff is top notch. If you are looking to have great food with exceptional service, you need to go to The Ridge Steakhouse! You won't be disappointed you did.
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with friendly, professional staff eager to help. Once seated, your wait staff is also eager to take your order for drinks and food. The food! The food is great and served very well! Having arrived at the hours designated for early bird pricing, everything was bustling, but not overlooking details of fine service. Overall, it was a great dining experience!

The Ridge is a great place to go. Their happy hour crab legs are fantastic. They have live music. If you enjoy yacht rock, you'll love it here
Entertainment was great!
The croissants were like fluffy honey buttered clouds! Squash casserole was so light and custardy with melted butter flaky crackers for a crumble of surprise. The Caesar salad has homemade dressing and was so good that I took it home with me and finished that evening. Early bird special ribs were very meaty and portion was great. Must go back for the seafood combo the the man across the pile was raving about. Also I took home the bread pudding because the guy in the next booth gave it a big thumbs up when the server listed it. Had to eat the accompanying rich vanilla ice cream so it wouldn't melt on the way home. Wonderful atmosphere. Fun friendly satisfied diners all around me. So going back soon.

The Ridge steakhouse is like a step back in time. The food was good, our server Kenzie was excellent. And the entertainment was great. Adrian Carrion is an American idol finalist and played a great range of music. Sinatra, Etta James, Elvis, The animals, Ben E. King, Prince. Will definitely return.

What happened? We've been to The Ridge many times over the years. It's always been a nice local place to get a good steak in a more upscale atmosphere. Our latest outing there was not that experience. I made a reservation for four for my wife's birthday, although when we arrived, we clearly did not need a reservation. The place was empty except the bar. There was a lounge singer who was so loud you couldn't have a conversation. It definitely had more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant with a bar. My mom was with us who walks slowly and the hostess who seated us took off and never looked back. She was almost to the table before she realized we were not with her. Then she placed four menus on a table with three chairs and walked away. I took a chair from another table to make the set complete.
The food was good but not outstanding. It has been better in the past. Our server was attentive and helpful. The bar didn't have the ingredients needed for a cocktail I ordered (from the menu) nor did it have the wine my wife ordered (again, from the menu) but at least the server recognized the issue with that and comped our drinks. They asked when the reservation was made if this was a special occasion and I said it was for a birthday. No one mentioned that at all. You, of course, don't have to but then don't ask me about it on the front end if you're going to ignore it.
Unfortunately, next time we're looking for a special occasion place we'll be looking elsewhere.

Must have passed this place a hundred times over the years and finally tried it. It is well maintained and we were greated promptly. I was nervous when we got sat right next to a speaker but it was early and it wasnt on. Our waiter was so kind and prompt, in fact, all the staff was polite.
Food is where it went downhill for us. I had the bbq ribs which the sauce was amazing but the ribs themselves were dry. My son had the steak medallions and he said they had no taste and my husband had a blackened pasta and he said it had no taste. He kept looking for salt and pepper but there was none on the table.
Its a one and done for us but I know its a local favorite for many.

Visited last night - was very disappointed- used to be our favorite place - my steak was mostly grizzel and tasteless and I never got my wedge salad - they brought someone else's salad to us and it sat for quite a while until we could get someone's attention to remove it - the creamed corn which used to be my favorite was like it had come out of a can from Publixs- my wife's shrimp scampi was very bland and the shrimp were overcooked and mushy- sorry to have to report all this but as I said we used to love going to the Ridge but won't be back anytime soon!

Very good food and experience.
We went here with friends for dinner who live in the area. They’ve been here several times and consider it a good place. My experience here agrees with that assessment.
Our server was decent but he seemed overly busy or distracted. We didn’t have any issues but a lot of time passed in between visits. The good news is that they use food runners so everything came out hot as soon as it was prepared.
The salads were excellent and the honey croissant was delicious. The fried shrimp I had was as good as it gets in North Georgia - perfectly battered and fried. My ribs were good but my potato was lukewarm.
Overall this was a very good (not great) experience.

We came here last saturday, and its our 1st time here and wanted to visit since long time ago. Very nice atmosphere and service. I put 4 stars as we ordered steaks (filet medallions, ribeye and new york strip) and unfortunately all of them were overcooked and a little bit dry. We didnt ask the waitress to change them as we were very hungry already. The flavor was not bad, tho, just dry. We might give it an opportunity next time.

Calling this a steakhouse is ridiculous.
The NY strip is thin cut, so it's no wonder it came out like shoe leather, even when triple checked with the server that he understood I want to close to rare. Same with pork chop...even though we checked with the server that we could get the chop barely medium, definitely not dried out, it came out so overcooked and dry, dry, dry.
Caesar salad in a gallon of dressing. The croissant roll they famously feature are mediocre at best.
The onion rings, however, rocked.
The restaurant was so loud (for no particular reason) we couldn't carry on a conversation. Which is too bad, because it could be a really nice place insted of an overpriced redneck dive (don't get me wrong, I LOVE a good dive).
All the way around a horrible experience.

First timer at the Ridge. I have to say WOW! Compliments to the owner or chef for the menu. I was part of a party of 8. The server was an allstar professjonal. He was an extremely young gentleman, but boy was he fantastic! If you're in the mood for a steak & you're in the area, I highly recommend The Ridge Steak & Seafood
