Excellent offset smoker!
I was at the facility picking up a smoker for my brother. I was able to walk through the facility meet some of the people working there. The facility is top-notch the welders do some of the best work I've seen. Everybody I spoke to was very helpful knowledgeable and friendly. When I get the opportunity I think I will be back hopefully to pick one of those up for myself. I'm giving five stars because I feel like they care about the workmanship and the clients. Overall great experience I would recommend to anybody. Many blessings
Workhorse pits went above and beyond in helping me with all of my questions and concerns in receiving the 1975t. Fantastic company Thank you JD and Ashley.
Got my 1975 about 2 weeks ago. Wow is all I can say this thing is awsome. You guys really do fine work.
So SALTY! Could be so much better if not drowned in salt!
Just a nice place,got them Smoker's,made from 100% US steel,good product
Here is my honest review of my pit, the 1975T.As far as the pit itself, nothing but positives. Its just like anything. Its only as good as you are. It keeps steady temps, built like a tank and cooks excellent tasting food if you know what you are doing. As far as ordering and wait times etc...you WILL wait.Quality is not cheap (but its a great value). It takes time to get your smoker (mine was about 8 months) and parts of your order (Cowboy Grill, cover etc.) may be on back order...BUT, I can tell you my food is great and its worth the wait.I cook up here in northwest Montana and the cold makes no difference. If you are willing to wait get it. Even if you just want to be a backyard guy, get the smaller version. They are great smokers...and Ashley in Customer Service is very prompt in responding to inquiries.

Fine craftsmanship. Great smokers
Customer service was not good at all. Smoker is great but it took a year to be delivered. Then was promised things they never showed up will never order again after that ?

Best backyard smokers in the business ?
1975t is my third and last offset. Coming from a Lang, the difference is night and day. Fire/temp management is a breeze and the craftsmanship on the welds is some of the best I've seen. The only thing I wish it had was a shelf outside in front of the cook chamber.
The eight month wait was 100% worth it. These pits are absolute tanks, and for that reason, would definitely recommend getting the wagon package for ease of mobility. Cooking temps are remarkably consistent across the grates from side to side, and was able to produce solid food on first use. Only observations for improvement would be trackable shipping, and the grease drain is awkwardly placed for the wagon unit. The drain is easy enough to work around with an elbow joint and ball valve.
Drove to Georgia from Nebraska to pick up my 1975t last November. It's been an amazing offset smoker.Workhorse Pits makes a superior product in every aspect.
I just received my 1969 pit and love it! Superior quality and outstanding quality control. After production there was an issue with a door and they took the time to ensure it was corrected before shipping. I received a flawless product due to their attention to detail and high product standards. I highly recommend this company! The thickness of steel and their ability to shape it reflects their high skills in metallurgy. As with most businesses these days, resources have become slower to get - so order months in advance. Just like great low and slow BBQ, great products come with time and this is definitely worth the wait! Special credit to Ashley and Grant for getting this product made and delivered, also a salute to the skilled workers sweating it out in GA with metal working tools in that summer heat! Thank you Workhorse pits!Rob K.Culpeper, Virginia
