Full of Grace

This place advertises they're opened but they're rarely opened and when they are it's usually only the store, but not the restaurant. We travel over 4 hours back and forth to Alabama. Several times, we checked to see if they were going to be opened. They said they were, and when we got there, they weren't.

Food took a long time to come out. Burger was good but the overall atmosphere is very lacking. This place is out of the way and could have a little bit more “flare” to it. In the end it was good but not enough to make me want to eat here again.

I ordered the burger that bares the name of establishment itself, the Ranger Burger, and it was quite possibly one of the most bland, flavorless, and messiest burgers I have ever eaten, not to mentioned rather expensive, especially considering you have to pay more for fries when already dropping around 16 dollars on the burger itself (???). There is very little in terms of service here as well, though the server that took my order still seemed to be a nice person at their core. The atmosphere is... strangely empty... Liminal, even... evoking the same feeling one gets when traversing an abandoned mall, except instead of vacant storefronts, you are presented with a wide, open room with an array of countless empty chairs and tacky military decor. Addtionally, the only sound one could hear is the distant wails of pop-country playing on a single TV in the back of the room via YouTube, ads and all. Overall, one of the oddest places I have ever eaten.

I remember this place when I was in the military in 1990! The first time anyone asked me if I wanted a ranger burger, I said huh? What's that? They just said wait till your see it. I wasn't disappointed. It was so remembered over 30 years later. Thanks so much for giving me such a powerful memory. Enjoy everyone. ?

Burger was great, fries were hot and salty just like I love them, but for a major dinner hour place was spooky quiet. Lol we were only dine in guest. At one point the music they did have playing stopped and all you could hear was kitchen noise.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps leading to restaurant so that was great.

Was told they opened at 11 am and we waited till noon and they still did not have anyone there. Two women came up about 12:10 and said it would be 30 minutes before grills were ready to cook. So we left.

Not a bad place at all. The burger is a monster and it taste so good. Their fried pickles are pretty awesome. Ask for a jr. ranger burger, fries, and a order of fried pickles. Slap some of your fried pickles on the burger and chow down. They get three stars from me because they just have regular fries that are sometimes soggy. Everything else is bomb.

I don't know what happened to this place but it's not the same. Whoever reopened the place has ruined the original reputation. The burgers were dry. A large order of fries looks like a small from McD's. We asked for utensils and about the fries but we were ignored. The server never came back by at all. We won't be back for sure.

A homely small town burger diner, adjoining a grocery and smoke store. The food is solid and service is pretty good, definitely a good place for a quick bite while on the road or a place to chill and hang.Check out their Ranger Burger!
