Stopped by on our way back from Providence Canyon and we definitely chose the right spot. The lovely lady at the service window was nice enough to let me try a sample of the pulled pork and rib tips to help me decide. I went with the rib tips and my girlfriend got the catfish. It was delicious and instantly took me back to growing up in Georgia. We will 100% on our next trip through and I’m getting the pulled pork. Eat here, you won’t be disappointed.
Great detour for lunch on the way to the Cape San Blas. The food truck is located just off the downtown square, plenty of room to park out RV. It has a covered patio with tables but was too hot to sit there and eat. We had the pulled pork sandwich with a couple of the sides. Pulled pork was tender, moist and had a delicious tomato based BBQ sauce! Potato salad was a true southern dish, sweet pickles and mayonnaise! Cole slaw was sweet and light on mayonnaise, very tasty!...
Fried fish was great, sandwich was just fish on 2 pieces of white bread- could have used some lettuce, tomato, and mayo or something. Bbq pork sandwich was very good- sauce premixed. Road side patio/picnic table seating. Definately recommend trying this place out if google routed you thru this little town.
