La Tapatia Supermercado

Ordered 6 Tamales to go. I had never had them from here. Seems they totally limit the amount of meat they put in them. They were about 98% dough and 2% other things. Finally threw them in the trash.

I love the tacos here!

I’ve been coming to Tapatia for years. At this point I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, and I can honestly say there isn’t a single dish that disappoints. The food is always bursting with flavor, consistently fresh, and bonus, has a Mexican Grocery!
The staff treats you like family the moment you walk in. They’re warm, attentive, and care about every guest’s experience.
Simply put, this restaurant gets it right every single time. Great food, great service, great people—exactly why I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to Their food truck that is in Auburn, where the BP gas station is located. We ordered a chicken burrito and a steak burrito along with the Mexican street corn in the cup when we got to the house and took a bite we noticed the steak was crunchy as hell I don’t know who the guy is that was on the grill, but he burnt the chicken and the steak and the corn was very basic not enough sour cream. Some of the corn wasn’t broken up as they cut it off the cob the whole thing was just horrible now don’t get me wrong. We have ordered from here before and it definitely didn’t taste like this but this particular night here I’m not sure what was going on with the cook, but the food was trash. I think the next time if we do decide to continue with them, we’ll just go to the restaurant instead of the food truck

THE FOOD WAS AMAZINGGG!! True authentic tacos!!! The service was soo nice and it was really affordable, I will definitely be coming back.

Ordered takeout… my order was completely incorrect. I was supposed to have a meal with steak and shrimp and I got this meal with steak rice and beans… And it was awful! My chicken empanada was completely burnt! Complete waste of $$$!

The food here is consistently good, fresh, and well-prepared. I’ve tried several items on the menu, and everything has been satisfying. However, the wait time is always longer than expected, even when ordering ahead. If you’re not in a rush, it’s worth it for the food, but definitely plan for delays.

i am not one to bash a business.. not sure how a restaurant could fail at making a pollo torta, horchata, and tres leches.. but this place figured it out. very, very disappointed. don't buy the cheese dip either, as it's cut with an obnoxious amount of oil. it sloshes around in the container like water and doesn't even include chips. we won't get into how salsa VERDE is clear in color. dollars wasted.

Imagine you're about to order something to eat and you're immediately greeted with a smile. You make the order pick a drink (wide variety) then a table to sit at. your food is delivered, afterwards they will ask if everything is alright. The food is amazing and the service is great.

Great grocery store. Friendly people.
