Horrible, greasy food! I have lived in the south three different times and never had as much grease in my food as I did here. The fried pork chops were greasy and tough. My husband finished one and left the other. The beans were soaked in grease and the onion rings were obviously cooked in the same grease as the fries.The word diner usually means various foods. Not this place. Also the wait staff acted as though they came out of Gone with the wind, with their honey, sweety and other words I found distasteful for this day and age.Believe me, over the years I ate in many great southern restaurants, where the food was rich with flavor and although some was fried, it was devoid of grease.

My husband and I bought a house in Elberton ,and since living here for months now, we've been checking out places to eat. Not that many. After being told about Black Sheep, we said ok, it's not too far away, so we drove over,and We certainly will be going back. The food is fantastic, thank you all , for being so kind.Lester & Kay

The food is not consistent. Some days the food is good and some days the food is not so good. Staff is nice. The place is crowded with seating and awkward to move around if the place is busy.
This is a little diner with delicious homemade food. The burger, fries & onions rings were outstanding!! Would love to return when I'm passing through again!Burgers were al carte then you purchased your side. A little high ( regular burger was 5.00 but it was homemade with really burger). Definitely worth it!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian as is they offer salads
