We stopped by B-Side in Decatur and had such a great experience. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming — perfect for an easy morning or casual hangout.

I had the café au lait, which was smooth and perfectly balanced, and the bagel with egg and bacon was absolutely amazing. Simple, done right, and incredibly satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

Great coffee, great food, and a cool neighborhood feel. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Decatur.

The bagels were so fresh, the meat and egg quality were elevated far beyond the normal cafe and the coffee was stellar. Thrilled this place exists and grateful for the privilege to go!

This quiche is truly amazing! They also offer excellent meat pies, and there are vegetarian options available. The pastries are consistently delicious, and I often take an extra one home with me. The staff is friendly, and the coffee is outstanding, especially given the city's reputation for exceptional coffee.

Should just say they are closed at 2:50 because staff will say “hell no” to making you a bagel

Little Pricey , didn't match the vibe. The pastries taste better than the Bagel and the seasonal drink lack taste basically only sweet .

I ordered the breakfast club and a iced chai tea latte, everything was super yummy 😋

Lox sandwich and matcha were great. After 20 mins of waiting I found out my order had been botched up. Although the food was great the slack in service left a bad after taste.

Pricey. Okay tasting food and coffee; nothing to write home about. Enjoyed spending the time there socializing with new friends.

Super disappointed with my food today. Kaiser roll was barely warm, roll wasn’t toasted or buttered, and the bacon itself wasn’t crispy but… hard. The hash brown I ordered was sopping wet in grease, literally falling apart like a wet sponge. Coffee was great and so were the pastries, but I don’t see myself coming back for just these things. Maybe a bagel is the better choice?

The staff was personable and efficient. I arrived right just as it was starting to get busy. The line moved quickly - either that or I lost track of time looking at all the baked goodies on display. My food was delicious - I highly recommend!

The only downside is parking. I parked in the public parking area behind the cafe and when I scanned the QR code it wanted to charge me $16 for 1 hr on a Saturday morning! There is street parking but I didn't see any spots when I arrived. That won't stop me from visiting B-Side again though - I'll just be patient and take my time to look for other parking alternatives.

Quality Food & People. A downtown Decatur staple that is going to make you say “why the heck was I not here yesterday?”

Paid 15 bucks for the tiniest bagel sandwich, very disappointing.

This is a clothing store not a restaurant. They had an excellent selection of clothing and accessories for men and women.

Everything we’ve had at B-side is spectacular- the coffees, the bagels, the quiche - it’s just all so delicious! Despite the insane crowd on the weekends, the staff is so friendly and welcoming even though they’re just insanely busy all the time. Love this place - would come here more often if the line wasn’t always out the door! 😜
