Cute coffee & bagel shop with a few pastries as well. Service is quick. I went two days in a row while visiting the town and both mornings there was a line of about 6 people. Seems to be popular and I can see why.The savory danish was delicious! I prefer savory over sweet, and this goat cheese with asparagus danish was tasty. I also got a bagel, egg, cheese, with bacon one day and with smoked turkey the next day. Both were great. They use a fried egg; it’s freshly made in front of you, nothing pre-packaged.I also got a chai latte both days with oat milk. They use tea concentrate, not flavored syrup.

Love this spot! Delicious bagels and scrumptious coffee. Gets very busy on the weekend, but it’s worth it!

Really disappointed that when I asked for a "dash of oat milk" in my coffee, they told me it would cost an extra $.75. Paying almost $4, plus tip, for a black coffee, and being told that makes me not want to come to b-side again.

Best way to start a Saturday morning in ATL/ Decatur is with a b-side bagel. My go-to is the lox bagel sandwich.

I have one major issue with this place. My husband and I come every weekend and typically drop around $65 on coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. Everything TASTES delicious which is why we keep coming back. The issue I have is that EVERY time we come we order our coffee EXTRA hot and every single time what we get is barely warm. I have to measure the temperature of my coffee at home during the week because I add something to it that has to be under 145 degrees or it degrades. So on two occasions I have brought my thermometer...108 degrees and 110 degrees. That's BARELY warm. For reference, coffee should be served ideally between 120-140 degrees. I used to barista. So if some asked for extra hot--it should lean toward 140. I know this sounds really nitpicky but this is a specialty coffee place where I spend typically around $20 for both our coffees alone. We should be able to get it actually more than warm. It's really really really annoying that no matter how I ask, I can't get it hot--but we LOVE the flavor of their lavender mochas...So to the establishment---PLEASE train your staff on how to make coffee drinks that are actually HOT. Or next time don't be surprised if I ask for you to stick it in the microwave.

Nice cafe and staff. Thank you Grace for the drink recommendation!!!
Had an oat milk latte and meat quiche. The coffee had a strong smooth flavor and milk was froth well. Quiche was fluffy and flavorful. Only negative was quiche needed to be headed a tad longer was cool at the center.

The good: the chocolate cake was fantastic and the only good thing we ordered. The pastry and bread on the sandwich were excellent. The bad: the horchata coffee was watery. The savory pie filling was not good: it had some grainy potatoes, and overcooked eggs and feta(?).The ugly: I was given the wrong sandwich and didn’t realize it until I took a bite in the car. Had to get the food to go because there were no seats open. The sandwich I was given was light on the meat and very heavy on the sauerkraut. The bread was great, but the sandwich overall was meh.Parking: Parking in the nearby parking lot is $10 for 30 minutes or $24 for 30+ minutes. The app or online payment options do not work so you have to pay at the kiosk which may not be ideal in bad weather or after dark.
I was in a Bad moodBut the service from the Server was SuperbThen the paper towel dispenser called me BeautifulThen the Barista was So Cheerful delivering There LatteThen came the food and I didn't know but I was Lucky and they let me knowThe Chef cracked ? cooked ? cut ? preparing a delicioso masterpieceMy mood flipped faster then a Bagel ready for spread....I'm fed and caffeinatedThanks B-SideA++

Like the atmosphere since it matches downtown Decatur, but it has okay food, my breakfast sandwich came out pretty cold and the baristas have questionable quality control since not once while I was in there did they clean out the portafilter. It’s supposed to be cleaned after every use to avoid old coffee ground build up and taste.Spent: $22 for a sandwich and chai latte.
