The cake was old, the food a sea of Salt. Salty, salty. Drove 2 hrs to support a black owned restaurant what a whole disappointment. All that Atlanta traffic to oay.$19 a plate for salt.

First and foremost it was no longer Big Daddy's Kitchen. It is Spanky's, it was some of the WORST food myself and my husband has EVER TASTED! The chicken was HORRIBLE so salty it could ruin your taste buds! The sweet potatoes taste like dirty water. The Mac and cheese was completely flavorless. This place was a complete flop! I hope the address get updated I hate to write a review on this business when it's now Spanky's Chicken and seafood.. I believe that's the name... Oh and the 3 wings for $10 they didn't add our fries however the charged us for the sides that we paid extra for and put them in the Togo box instead of the container that the waitress stated they will go in! It was just a disappointment.

This is the best soul food I have eaten at a restaurant. The food was so good we took food to go. The staff was very friendly and treated us like a family We will be taking that trip at least once a month just to eat here. Everything was delicious.

Really didn’t want to do a one star, it’s super explensive and horrible, I mean HORRIBLE FOOD.The Mac n cheese taste so sour, I couldn’t eat it , the bbq chicken was way over cooked. The greens had no seasoning. $40 for garbage food smh

Huge selection of meats. Decent amount of vegetables. I was told by the staff to get the mac n cheese because it was good so I got it but i was deeply disappointed. Didn't taste good at all.

I really wanted to enjoy my meal but the order taker made a mistake and we were too far to make changes. The pork chops were delicious everything else was subpar. These were no homemade drinks available which makes me believe they are really tasty.

In the last year the taste of their food has went down drastically the pork chops smothered in gravy is still good never by the ribs it's the worst thing on the menu I couldn't believe it. A barbecue place with horrible ribs I'm not sure if they have new cook or what it is but the quality has went down hopefully they will get someone new. My last 5 experiences have been horrible I tried to support the business because it's a black owned business and they used to have good food my last visit was on 7/31/21
Went with a friend. Portions seemed appropriate, and the food options were what I expected plus there was some healthy fish available.

I HAD to choose a star, so 1 star was in the least bit rewarding according to my experience. The gentleman who took my order was SUPER RUDE! I moved to Georgia in hopes to find a good soul food place to add to my great move so far. Big Daddy's was NOT a part of my great experiences. After dragging past the rude drunk looking employee who took my order; I asked the cashier, "Why is everyone so mean?" I told him I try to support Black Businesses and it's disheartening that you are greeted like you are bothering him. The cashier was very nice and apologized for his rude a** employee!! The food was HORRIBLE! The fried chicken was FULL OF FEATHERS!!! Which in turn (to me) means the chicken was not cleaned well. I was thoroughly disappointed! Greens tasted like vinegar, the mac n cheese tasted like plain noodles.....no seasoning. Its sad that the best food experience we've had since we've been here is a White owned business....everything was on point there. Smh THIS experience is why they say, "Black Lives DONT matter!!!" We need to know better/be better and we'll be able to DO BETTER! Ughhhhhhhh

This place needs to be shut down until further notice. I purchased 4 meals which was a total of $80.00. Some food was undercooked, too hard, everything seemed to taste like vinegar, pound cake was hard as stale Popeyes biscuit. The interior of this establishment was not kept up at all. We should've turned around then, but we were being optimistic. I love supporting black business, but this one needs serious help. Bar rescue, Iyanla fix my life, Something!!!

This place used to be my go to. I just wanna know who thinks vinegar is good on macaroni n cheese broccoli casserole never in my life have I eaten soul food with a sour lemon face until now! Please do better I love your food otherwise also my meal was 49$ definitely wasn't worth it.
