My favorite Pub. This place is the best. Always has phenomenal tap list (including a Cask bar), and a great BEER garden out back. Upstairs is the Belgian bar, the atmosphere is truly fantastic. Make sure to ask to visit the BEER cellar, which is a must experience.

What happened? Longtime fan of this spot since it opened. I was so looking forward to the Brickstore ‘build your burger.’ Asked for no cheese and medium well with crispy Brussels. I got a charred hockey puck a hour later with a single piece of wilted lettuce. Brussels boiled to death with no flavor. Beers were good though. Service exceptional. Hopefully this Decatur icon rebounds.

A nice pub in downtown Decatur. Parking is sparse, but the vibe of this pub is difficult to beat. I recommend getting the perogies for an appetizer.

Food was remarkably good especially for a place which seems to be beer-focused. The beer was also excellent!! Loved the holiday beer menu and the 6 oz pours. That was the perfect amount for tasting. Service was cheerful, friendly, attentive, and all servers helped each other so we never felt ignored by any staff! But WILLARD was our main server and he was the bomb. He gave us killer food and beer recommendations. And the atmosphere is awesome. No TVs, no loud music, perfect lighting, just extremely good vibes!!! I need to come here more often!!!

There's a lot to unpack in a place like Brick Store. You recognize it as soon as you walk in, and you won't be able to experience it all in the first outing. The trick is to get you hooked on the experience just enough so that you can justify coming back multiple times. Does Brick Store pull that off? Yeah, I'd say so. The draw to return isn't an overt yank on your mind, but rather a subtle and delicate pull at your subconscious. The drinks are expertly crafted and the staff loves to serve. The service is beyond top notch, and supercedes any issues you might have with the place. It was a little too dark for my tastes, but I didn't really mind it with such great service!!
