Not an authentic Cuban bakery! Over priced!! Limited menu. No seating or option to eat inside. No restroom. No cash accepted. The food was not the worse food I have had but it’s NOT Cuban food!!!! I have never been to a Cuban bakery where Cuban bread is not sold…but this was the first and I’m pretty sure the only one. You will be very disappointed if you are familiar with Cuban cuisine.

Overall good experience. I tried the meat empanadas and the croquettes. The meat dumplings had a touch of tomato that I wasn't expecting, but it didn't bother me. The flirts were INSANE. Super rich

This is so sad. This place has amazing food and a beautiful location. But how does a comfy coffee shop that serves up Cuban nostalgic treats kick you out to eat? You are a food venue. Miami Cubans are known for being invited not cold.

Nice small bakery, good customer service, the empanadas were delicious 😋 I just wished the place had at least one table with chairs so I could eat with my family there, the do have 2 little round tables with no chairs at all. The decoration in the place is very plain.

Everything on the menu is great. You can’t go wrong with the quality or service or location.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, only curb that has a chair entry; but limited handicapped parking.

The Cubans are insane. The bread literally shatters in your mouth like a cracker. The pastelitos are amazing as well. I ate three without realizing. Dangerous.

Excellent service. Only one drawback is that they do not accept cash.

It's ok. My problem is they don't serve any breakfast only pastelitos and coffee only. You can't get any type of sandwiches before 11 which sucks

Great Cuban Coffee and Pastries, but you have to come early because customers are buying big boxes filled with the delicious pastries for local schools, businesses, and families. The coffee is very strong and delicious. This little take out place is growing quickly in popularity and is no longer a secret just for the locals. You have only four days a week to line up and enjoy the Cuban magic, the other three days you can only dream. Dream of the pleasure of a Cortadito (a double shot of Expresso with a dash of steamed milk or nondairy alternative, with a bit of sweetness) and a flaky pastry. Don't procrastinate, because on those four open days, everything ends at 2 pm. This is the perfect example of great things in a small package, for a limited time.
Parking: This is the first restaurant to open each day, so arrive early. By lunch time all the other restaurants open and parking could possibly be harder to find. There is overflow parking behind Athens Pizza.

One of the best Cuban sandwiches in town. But they do not have indoor or outdoor seating areas. Nor do they have a restroom for customers. Five of us have to stand around a small table trying to finish our yummy sandwiches.

Delicious empanadas. A couple of weeks ago, the vegan chorizo empanadas were extremely dry, I didn't appreciate that as I purchased 4 so I was very disappointed. Prior to this visit they were great!
Top 10 spot for me of any cuisine in Atlanta. I’ve been here 50x and never had anything I wasn’t obsessed with.
Nobody in Atlanta beats their Cubans. Havana, D’Cuban, all the other popular spots are good, but Buena Gente is the best around.
If you’re not feeling a Cuban though, that’s totally fine. DO NOT miss out of the guava pastelitos. The flakiness of those bad boys is on par with the croissants from Little Tart, but that guava filling takes it to the next level.
The ham croquetas, the beef empanadas (chicken is good too but the beef is stellar), and the papas rellenas are insane. Their cafe con lecce is of course great as well, as are their other coffee options.
Suffice it to say, if you come here wanting one thing, you will end up leaving with a box full of everything when you end up wanting it all (and for good reason).
I swear if this place ever goes away, I will riot.
