We had "pastelitos" for the first time in Little Havana in Miami this year, loved them and searched for them here in Atlanta. Delighted to say that the guava (as well as the guava with cream cheese) pastelitos here were as good or better!! Delicious, light and flaky pastries, especially if you like guava. Service was excellent.

The nastiest business practices at any business establishment I have ever been to.
Everything is countered with a "no", "we don't do subtitutions", or "not here". Food is good, but if you cannot omit the cheese on a sandwich that you are making upon request, then there's something really wrong with you. And is not because the sandwiches are premade, they just refuse to even listen to you...even for folks with food allergies, just like myself.
You don't have to be nasty to customers.
Do better!

we got a couple of empanadas. there should be a list of ingredients as they put olives in them. they were awful. the cuban sandwich was bland and definitely not great bread. way overpriced too

Ahí… que rico. Highly recommended it!!
Great service… delicious food. My favorites was the round pastelillo de carne and the guava and cheese pastelillo. You might have to wait in line for a few but just wait….. it is worth it.

Used to be the best. However, they are only open 1/2 day 4 days a week. Takes forever to get a Cubano, if you can remember to come when they might be open. DCuban is better.

I am hoping to come back and possibly increase my rating to 4. The food was good, but the place seemed a bit overhyped to me. The hours and lack of seating are a bit of a pain.Highlights:The empanadas, croquetas, and the Trigo were great. The Trigo is a puffed wheat milkshake or “batido”. The description is that is tastes like Honey Smacks cereal and it definitely tastes like a cereal milkshake, which I love.Room for improvement:The mostly early weekend hours, lack of seating, and devoted following makes it difficult to grab a meal here with friends. Maybe this will expand over time.I didn’t think the standard Cuban sandwich or “Cubano” was anything better than some of the others in town such as Papi’s or El Super Pan. I have heard the Medianoche is really the highlight here, but the two times I went they were out of it. I will be back to try it at some point.
