We used to go to Calle Latina when they were on the Square in Decatur, but this space is something special. We went on a Friday night and one of the best jazz bands I've heard in Atlanta played while we had the most scrumptious meal in a fun, lively atmosphere with the most outstanding service. Everyone who works here is welcoming and kind and on top of their game. The peach margarita was insanely delicious and refreshing. I'm not a fan of drinks where you can barely taste the flavor other than alcohol, and this one was perfection. The appetizers were so tasty, and everyone was super pleased with their meals. And I really love that the portion sizes aren't insane. The restaurant is way more focused on serving quality food with fresh ingredients - it's not about massive portion sizes (although we were definitely full when we left). I am so excited because we can walk to this neighborhood gem (which has an awesome bar, by the way). And we will definitely be going on Friday nights to listen to the fabulous jazz band, have some drinks and a lovely meal.

I went to Calle Latina over the weekend and had an excellent experience. The building is absolutely beautiful, I sat by the covered patio area and it was fitting for the Spring weather the view is nice. I had an amazing server by the name of Cassidy she was very attentive and suggested I got the special of the day which was the lobster and roasted corn empanadas. It did not disappoint. The fried green tomatoes was amazing! It was like a party version of our southern staple very much enjoyed those. The steak tacos were delicious as well. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back.

I LOVE this place! Amazing vibe since they moved from their old location... and free parking. Food is always consistent, fresh and packed with real latin flavors. The strawberry rhubarb margarita is, without a doubt, the best margarita I have ever consumed... order one and then immediately order another. Service is always attentive and heartfelt. On Wednesday evening, I went here for the second time. Both times I’ve been, the atmosphere/ambience was wonderful, the service was attentive and the servers were extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and the food was outstanding! I ordered the adobe fried chicken, yuka fries, and cilantro infused mashed potatoes on my second visit, and it was amazing! I highly recommend this place!!

I ordered takeout and got two different empanadas and the arepa burger. As shown in the image the burger was completely raw in the middle and we did not specify this. We are willing to try again but this was disappointing.
We made a last minute reservation for 8 people. Michaela (sp?) and the whole staff were amazing. Everything we ordered (and it was a lot, like CVS receipt a lot) was excellent. The guest musician even sang happy birthday to the bday people. It was just such a great experience. Felt at home. 5 stars.

Calle Latina proved to be inhospitable during my recent visit. Despite arriving with my family for dinner, we were asked to leave due to insufficient seating. To add to the discomfort, the manager suggested we sit outside in chilly, windy conditions, subjecting us to a 45-degree evening. This denial of service without a valid reason was disappointing. I hope Calle Latina improves its customer experience, as I would hesitate to recommend it to others unless improvements are made to avoid such unwarranted treatment.

Arrived and restaurant and it was 1/2 full. Stood there while they "strategized" for 5 minutes where to seat us. They attempted to put us, a party of 3 at a high top for 10..?? Really. They opened the slider doors to bring in a table from the patio..to setup for a large party that never showed.. letting all the cold air in the restaurant. Food was average and lacked flavors. were too doughy with little flavor. Ordered crab and they brought bean empanadas. Server was pleasant.. but seemed to rush us. . Guac and salsa was average . Ceviche was too spicy. Shrimp dish was highlight and good. Will not return.

We also notice that a caucasian family was seated and served after us. I mentioned this to our waitress and she apologized stating that our waitress got turned around even though it was not busy (the same waitress who ran to the Caucasian family) This waitress and the manager offered two free appetizers. Then we ordered our food with no delay and that took about another 25 minutes for her to bring it to the table after we were done with the appetizers. What I notice was a staff meeting or gathering of the staff was happening in the middle of the place instead of them taking care of their customers. I still gave the waitress a good tip because I don't believe it was her fault and also to show that we can tip just as well or even better, but that will be our first and last time there.
