lots of options for seafood boiled seafood, something I'm admittedly not very familiar with. i opted for fried calamari, which was decent. prices are in line with other places in Decatur, which is to say a little pricey. service and atmosphere were good, went during lunchtime and there were several other tables enjoying interesting looking meals. i do think their "adult capri suns" and mocktails are smart moves to have on their drinks menu, too.

Upon arriving to the restaurant they could not find the reservation but they weren't busy so we were sat with no wait. Our initial server was not welcoming and appeared to be bothered by our questions. I stopped another server and asked for the manager. Much to my surprise he advised he was the manager. I explained that I would like a new server due to a few things that happened on the first interaction. He understood and advised it was his table anyways and cared for us moving forward. We ordered our dinner (3 of us), as our food came everything appeared to be fine however I was missing an item. Once I asvised the server he immediately placed the order to ensure I recieved my missing item. I wish I knew this servers name as he made the experience better and I will consider coming back.

I ordered take-out and it was delicious! Fried fish, very lightly breaded and cooked to perfection, accompanied by tasty and crisp Cole slaw that was NOT immersed in a puddle of mayo, as is so often the case, and some fine fries. The atmosphere is not to my liking, however, because there are too many TVs. It would be nice to have a TV-free area. Other than that, a great place!!

My wife and alllll our friends and family we take here LOVE this spot. Hope the consistency stays and we will continue to come. The seafood with the Cap't Loui sauce got them alllll hooked.The chicken strips with the fries HIT too.

Came out to captain loui after a friend from NY suggested we go out for a seafood boil and was not dissapointed! From the great drinks/food, welcoming staff and wonderful atmosphere i cant give them enough praise! Our server Jason was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel very welcome. If youre from out of town or even a local dont pass up on Captain loui! Will most certainly be back for more!
